Abstract
553,110. Hose pipes. AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS CO., Ltd., and CLENCH, E. C. S. Dec. 15, 1941. No. 16180. [Class 99 (ii)] A flexible hose for conveying fluids at high pressures, comprising a rubber or like core 11 surrounded by layers 12, 13, 14 of textile threads or metal wires, either braided or wound helically as shown is provided with an intermediate layer 10 of closely braided textile threads of sufficient fineness to prevent the rubber &c. of the core from being forced through the interstices during the curing of the hose.
