Definitions
- the invention relates to a sling sling according to claim 1.
- Round slings are mainly used in industry, construction and trade for lifting loads. Lifting slings are used in transportation, and especially in the construction industry, in a variety of ways.
- US 5,498,047 is a sling known, which consists of a woven band, with loops and at least one reinforced edge, which is intended to protect against premature wear.
- the reinforcement is an additional textile insert.
- a sling sling according to the preamble of claim 1 which consists of a tubular structure with two chambers in which deposits are. These inserts are passed as endless loops in the two chambers, that each insert of the first chamber is also found in the second chamber, whereby a symmetrical arrangement results with respect to the center between the two chambers. A symmetrical arrangement of the inserts easily leads to a twisting of the sling under load.
- Round slings are made of a tube, which usually consists of a chamber, but also - as in US 4,210,089 executed - can consist of two chambers.
- Round slings are made from endless strands of yarn, which always make a round, endless ring or round tube, but can be designed in the dimension so that they can lift loads up to 100 t. Because round slings an endless ring, they can not be easily performed under a standing load piece.
- Sling straps are made of woven straps that can normally lift loads of up to 20 t, depending on their width and thickness. Sling straps are sewn together in one piece with loops on both sides. This band can be pulled under a standing load piece and hooked on both sides with the loops in a load hook. Since the bands are under strong tension due to the load, they are very susceptible to wear and cuts. It is often attempted to remedy this disadvantage with a complex coating.
- Another object is to substantially increase service life and service life of the sling sling over conventional sling straps sewn from webbing material and designed for loads up to 100 tons.
- Fig. 1 shows the view of an inventive sling sling.
- the sling sling consists of a tubular structure 20 which has at least two chambers 2, 2 'and thus forms a chamber tube 1, which is bounded by ends 5, 5'.
- the chambers are formed in the manufacturing process and consist of synthetic yarns, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, molded plastic, extruded synthetic material, steel fabric or chemically resistant material, leather or synthetic leather.
- inserts 4 which extend endlessly from one side to the other side, or from one end 5 to the other end 5', through the chamber tube 1, wherein the deposits are asymmetrical, which will be explained later becomes.
- the inserts 4 consist of single fibers or fiber bundles of high-strength materials such as polyester (PES), polyamide (PA), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), Dyneema, Kevlar and steel strands. They are also referred to as traction inlays, since they essentially absorb the entire load, while the chamber tube 1 surrounding them remains essentially unloaded under tension and above all exercises a protective function. This results in a much longer life of the sling sling. Also, the inserts or the protective tube may consist of a combination of these materials, or be present as a mixed bundle of insert fibers.
- high-strength materials such as polyester (PES), polyamide (PA), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), Dyneema, Kevlar and steel strands. They are also referred to as traction inlays, since they essentially absorb the entire load, while the chamber tube 1 surrounding them remains essentially unloaded under tension and above all exercises a protective function. This results in a
- the inserts 4 project beyond, or overlap the ends 5, 5 'of the chamber tube 1, so that loops 3, 3' are formed there.
- the inserts are covered in the loop area by a loop protection 6, 6 ', which overlaps the chamber tube 1 in the rule and is connected thereto. However, it can also abut the ends 5, 5 'of the chamber tube 1 without connection (not shown).
- the chamber tube can be made of different materials, with these covered or coated. Suitable materials are synthetic and natural materials such as polyurethane, synthetic rubber, natural rubber, PVC, textiles, nonwovens, synthetic leather, leather, steel stranded fabric, yarn and knitted fabric.
- the loops may be covered by various protective materials, eg as a fabric or as a hose.
- Fig. 2 shows a perspective sectional view of a sling sling. Visible is the chamber tube 1 with its one end 5 and the chambers 2, 2 ', which are lined up four further chambers. The deposits 4 are located in the chambers.
- the at least two chambers 2, 2 ' have been created by sewing, forking or weaving.
- the chambers have seams that are parallel to the inserts in the pulling direction, whereby the chamber tube is divided into chambers.
- Such sling loops are mainly used for applications in the machine industry, construction industry, for the transport and the goods industry, as is the case for example on freight hubs of any kind.
- Fig. 3 shows a perspective sectional view of a sling sling with chambers of small width and large thickness.
- the tensile inserts 4 are arranged so that the chambers have a small width with a large thickness.
- these straps are suitable for lifting large loads and are manufactured for loads up to 100 t with a safety factor of 7: 1.
- Such sling loops find applications in turbine construction, for heavy loads in power plants or industry in general.
- Fig. 4 shows a perspective sectional view of a sling sling with chambers of large width and small thickness.
- the tensile inserts 4 are arranged so that the chambers have a large width at a small thickness.
- Such sling loops are mainly used when there is little space to the sling loops under the load slide.
- the chamber tube may thus have a cross-section which is freely designed in terms of thickness, width and load capacity according to the application needs.
- Fig. 4A shows a sling sling with asymmetric inserts.
- the loosely inserted in the chamber tube 1 deposits 4 are indicated here by dashed lines.
- the insert 4 'in the outer chamber of one side of the chamber tube is passed over the loop 3 and thereafter returned as insert 4 "in an inner chamber of the other half of the chamber tube chamber hose.
- All other inserts are also arranged asymmetrically with respect to this centerline. This arrangement is referred to as 'asymmetric inserts'.
- the chamber tube has many adjacent chambers, it can hardly 'fold' under tension, because due to the asymmetric arrangement, a transverse component of the tensile stress counteracts the deformation.
- Fig. 5 shows a chamber tube with one-sided coating.
- the chamber tube 1 with the chambers 2, 2 'and inserts 4 is provided on one side with a coating 7.
- the chamber tube may have a one-sided or a two-sided coating. But it can also consist of a material that is woven, knitted, extruded or cast and also produced as an all-round coating.
- the Coatings can be cast, sprayed, calendered, powder coated or doctored and cured as a solution.
- the chamber tube can have a coating that consists of the same materials or of different materials as the chamber tube.
- Fig. 6 shows a chamber tube with a surrounding protective tube.
- the chamber tube 1 is surrounded by a protective tube 8.
- the protective tube can be made of synthetic or natural material, of woven fabric, of knitted fabric or as extruded, cast element.
- the protective tube is arranged over the entire length of the chamber tube or only over a part thereof or can be made of several parts.
- the protective hose serves as a bearing surface for the work material and is therefore made of different materials according to the application requirements. Depending on the application, it is particularly heat-resistant, flame-retardant, chemical-resistant, cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant.
- a woven or knitted sheath or a double sheath which is particularly resistant to chemicals and consists of polyamide (PA), polypropylene (PP), polyester (PES) or polyethylene (PE), or a blend of these materials.
- PA polyamide
- PP polypropylene
- PET polyester
- PE polyethylene
- it is made from cut-resistant cut resistant material and, thanks to its special weaves, has an extremely high edge strength, since the edges are not under tension.
- Particularly heat-resistant and flame-retardant designs are made of Kevlar, steel strands, Nomex or a combination thereof.
- Various, special weaves provide extremely high abrasion resistance, cut resistance and edge strength.
- the chamber tube 1, the inserts 4, the coating 7, the protective tube 8 and the edge protection may have different or the same materials.
- the protective hose as well as the chamber hose can be made of extruded or cast, synthetic material.
- PVC polyvinyl chloride
- PU polyvinyl acrylate
- rubber or synthetic rubber a rubber compound
- natural or synthetic leather woven or knitted steel strands
- yarn or knitted fabric which are coated on one side, on both sides or all around.
- the chamber hose, the protective hose, the protective coating, the inserts and the edge protection can have different materials.
- the CE standard EN 1492-1 defines the sling with regulations that are fully complied with by the arrangement and combination of the various listed materials.
- Fig. 7 shows a sling with two protective tubes.
- the chamber tube is here surrounded by a first protective tube 8, so that it is present from end 5 to end 5 'covered.
- a second protective tube 8 ' is mounted, which guarantees additional protection in this area.
- the chamber tube can be coated with several different or the same protective tubes, which can arise through their position, or distribution over the entire length of the chamber tube a reinforcing profile, a protective profile that meets the desired requirements each.
- Fig. 8 shows a first embodiment of a sling sling with loops of different lengths.
- the sling sling has a chamber hose 1 of 4 m and loops of different length of 0.8 m and 1.8 m in length, giving a total length of 6.6 m. It is designed for a payload of 100 t.
- the chamber tube is divided into 14 chambers 2, 2 ', in which deposits 4 of polyester strands are loosely inserted and present asymmetrically.
- the chamber tube is made of polyester fabric and is covered with a protective tube 8 made of polyester fabric with coated polyurethane, which covers the entire chamber tube.
- the two loops 3, 3 ' have a loop protection 6, 6' made of polyamide fabric and are wide / narrow woven, the narrow-woven part lies in the loop curvature.
- Fig. 9 shows a second embodiment of a sling with reinforced loop protection.

Sling straps are made of woven straps that can normally lift loads of up to 20 t, depending on their width and thickness. Sling straps are sewn together in one piece with loops on both sides. This band can be pulled under a standing load piece and hooked on both sides with the loops in a load hook. The
The
Above all, these straps are suitable for lifting large loads and are manufactured for loads up to 100 t with a safety factor of 7: 1. Such sling loops find applications in turbine construction, for heavy loads in power plants or industry in general.
Now, if the chamber tube has many adjacent chambers, it can hardly 'fold' under tension, because due to the asymmetric arrangement, a transverse component of the tensile stress counteracts the deformation.
The chamber tube may have a one-sided or a two-sided coating. The chamber tube can have a coating that consists of the same materials or of different materials as the chamber tube.
The
The protective hose as well as the chamber hose can be made of extruded or cast, synthetic material. In question are PVC, PU, rubber or synthetic rubber, a rubber compound, natural or synthetic leather, woven or knitted steel strands, yarn or knitted fabric, which are coated on one side, on both sides or all around.
According to the valid CE standards, the chamber hose, the protective hose, the protective coating, the inserts and the edge protection can have different materials.
The CE standard EN 1492-1 defines the sling with regulations that are fully complied with by the arrangement and combination of the various listed materials.
