Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for producing a Clothing wire for open-end spinning.
- OE spinning Open-end spinning
- Opening roller and the spinning rotor The most important components of the OE spinning unit are Opening roller and the spinning rotor.
- the opening roller By means of the opening roller from a cotton-like tape that is only a few micrometers thick fibers pulled out from contaminants freed and fed into the spinning rotor via a feed channel, where they are twisted into the finished yarn.
- the perfect functioning of the opening roller is crucial Influence on the stability of the spinning process and the quality of the yarn produced.
- FIG. 1 shows a partially cut open usual opening roller ring consisting of a base roller made of aluminum 1 and the spirally wound clothing wire Second
- opening rollers and toothed strips or wires can be found, for example, in US-A-2,937,413, US-A-4,233,711, US-A-2,731,676, US-A-4,435,953 and US-A-3,833,968.
- the production the tooth wires are usually made by rolling out an initially round wire into a profile strip with the characteristic cross-sectional shape (see Fig. 2a) and then punching out the teeth from the flat part of this Profile strip.
- Such a clothing wire is in Fig. 2a in Cross-section and in part in Fig. 2b in side view shown.
- mechanical post-processing the tooth flanks carried out by grinding.
- Such a thing Manufacturing process is described for example in US-A-4,233,711.
- a clothing wire obtained after these manufacturing steps is also called raw wire.
- Such a wire is, for example under the name OE-M-3325 CSH from the company Graf / CH-Rapperswil offered on the market.
- the edges of the Teeth of the raw wire are sharp and sometimes very rough. Opening rollers with a clothing wire in this condition have a completely unacceptable spinning behavior because of the fine fibers be destroyed by the raw wire or on the bumps of the teeth form clusters that loosen from time to time and cause thick spots in the yarn produced.
- the raw wires are applied prior to application as a clothing wire on the base body of a removing material Process consisting of an electrolytic or chemical Undergo machining operation.
- the raw wire successively in different electrolytic and / or chemical working baths degreased, descaled, stained and deburred. Between the actual process steps must be intense be rinsed. Through these processing steps, the sharp edges of the raw wire are rounded and the surface quality generally improved. The whole process, however, is lengthy and expensive.
- Teeth finish The surface condition resulting from this treatment Teeth is called "needle finish”. It is considered indispensable for perfect functioning of the opening roller Wire clothing. A reference to this "needle finish" is found e.g. in US-A-5,006,367, column 2, lines 9-10.
- the teeth of the Opening roller through targeted surface technology measures to protect against wear and thus the service life of the Extend the opening roller.
- This is particularly effective here
- DE OS 2433769 has proposed clothing wire preform helically with a diameter similar to that Diameter of the roller body, and then this wire on the Fasten roller body.
- Such a preformed wire can also be used before assembly coated on the roller body, e.g. is described in EP 0861930. According to the prior art the wire, however, even before it is rolled in, for the spinning process have the necessary needle finish because of this surface condition leading processes on tightly rolled wire spirals is not controlled.
- the materials used for the basic roller body are: preferably used aluminum alloys. A nickel-diamond coating of the roller body is not necessary since there is no significant wear and aluminum materials usually also have sufficient corrosion resistance are.
- the present invention has the object of a method for To provide that the short term and inexpensive Provides opening rollers for OE spinning.
- a method for production a clothing wire which is to be applied to an opening roller base body is suitable, characterized in that a for the production of clothing wire standard raw wire upright is processed into a wire roll in which the teeth of the The wire is perpendicular to the roller axis and the one diameter which has the diameter of the opening roller base body corresponds to or up to a maximum of ⁇ 5% of the diameter of the opening roller main body deviates and the wire reel loosely a carrier device is pushed and with this in a electroplating system is introduced, being in the electroplating System for deburring the raw wire and the nickel-diamond coating of a garnished opening roller usual process steps and the clothing wire out is taken from the electroplating system.
- the method according to the invention allows the manufacturer of Opening rollers, the delivery time for rollers according to customer specifications to reduce from about 8 to about 4 weeks without an extensive Keep stocks of expensive clothing wire with needle finish to have to.
- there are direct cost savings by reducing the proportion of rejects caused by damage and complete elimination of the transportation process Rolls from manufacturer to nickel-diamond coater.
- the process according to the invention is based on cheap Raw wire, a clothing wire optimized according to customer specifications provided at the opposite of the booth technology lower costs for optimal function has the required active geometry of the tooth tips and the necessary for the required long-term behavior in spinning technology Wears nickel-diamond coating.
- the raw wire is preferred in the method according to the invention as is commercially available in elastic rolled bundles with approx. 500 mm in diameter.
- Manufacturer of such Raw wire are e.g. the company Graf in CH-Rapperswil or the Hollingsworth in D-Neubulach.
- the wire stretches as it rolls off the collar. He will prefer according to the usual in the manufacture of spiral springs Methods upright to roll with an inner diameter which corresponds to the diameter of the opening roller main body or processed up to a maximum of ⁇ 5%. Such methods are for example from Meissner / Wanke; Manual springs 2nd edition 1993, pages 62/63, Verlagtechnik Berlin-Munich, known.
- the length of these rolls depends on the size of the for further processing available in the electroplating system Dips.
- the diameter of these rolls depends after the roller base body on which the clothing wire after the Pass through the method according to the invention should.
- the Roll diameter essentially from the diameter of the used Dorns. Because of the material properties of the Raw wire of different springback after rolling must hence the diameter of the mandrel by a certain amount be smaller, which is to be determined empirically.
- the wire roll becomes loose for the treatment of its surface pushed onto a carrier device and with this into a Electroplating machines introduced.
- An electroplating machine is preferred used, usually in the nickel-diamond dispersion coating of the garnished opening rollers takes place.
- electroplating systems have mainly been used only for Deposition of metallic coatings such as nickel diamond Layer on finished components by the bath chemicals used cannot be attacked or changed geometrically allowed to.
- Removal processes such as B. making the needle finish are carried out beforehand in our own facilities, in particular if high demands on geometrical accuracy are required more complicated components, such as this for clothing wire applies to OE opening rollers.
- these insoluble components can be impurities (eg inclusions such as SiO 2 ) and / or alloying elements (eg carbon).
- the surface newly generated during deburring has an extraordinary high reactivity; i.e. when removing one Test specimen from the batch for optical assessment and the waiting time until the assessment was made the wire due to the corrosion taking place for a subsequent one Metallization unusable.
- Chemical deburring takes place using a deburring solution preferably with simultaneous mechanical support instead of.
- the mechanical support is made insoluble by the addition Solid particles for deburring solution realized.
- Solid particles with a diameter are preferred from 1 - 1000 ⁇ m. Both organic (e.g. Plastics such as PTFE) as well as inorganic (e.g. boron nitride, Boron carbide etc.) solids are used.
- the particles have preferably a concentration of 0.2 to 20 g / l.
- the density of the particles is expediently in a range which prevents floating on the deburring solution or, in the other case, prevents sedimentation from occurring too quickly.
- the density of the particles is therefore preferably in the range from 1.2 to 4.5 g / cm 3 .
- the maximum wear resistance of the coating a heat treatment at at least 335 ° C for at least sl Hour.
- Example 1 Production of a clothing wire for commercially available opening rollers
- the roller base has a diameter of 58 mm.
- the base body has a spiral groove 1 mm deep, into which the finished clothing wire is rolled should.
- An untreated raw wire is so on a cylindrical Mandrel spirally wound into rolls that the teeth of the raw wire stand perpendicular to the roller axis.
- the wire roll should have an inside diameter of approx. Have 59 mm. To achieve this, a mandrel diameter was used of 54 mm used.
- the mandrel is clamped in the chuck of a lathe, on the Support brakable wire guide rollers are mounted.
- the raw wire lies in the form of larger coils with a diameter of approx. 500 mm the teeth are parallel to the coil axis.
- a coil of raw wire is placed on a rotating unwinding device set.
- the wire end is between those on the lathe support mounted guide rollers on the winding mandrel pulled and in a holding device mounted on the lathe chuck trapped.
- the guide rollers are spring loaded pressed to the side of the wire and mechanically braked, so that they keep the wire under tension while the winding process is running.
- the support feed corresponds the thickness of the wire base, so that the Lay the ducts of the resulting spiral directly together.
- the length of the roll results from the existing device or from those available for further chemical treatment Badab distren.
- the wire After reaching the desired roll length, the wire is cut off and thereby relaxed. The remaining elasticity leads to a spring back, in which the spiral gears on the widen predetermined diameter of 59 mm. After this The clamping device on the lathe chuck can be opened slightly remove the finished roll from the mandrel.
- Chemical deburring baths are offered, for example, by Tritech in D-42207 Wuppertal and Poligrat in D-81829 Kunststoff.
- the main components of these baths are hydrogen peroxide, ammonium bifluoride, various acids and stabilizers.
- the described solid particles become the deburring bath added to provide mechanical support to the deburring process to reach.
- To achieve the maximum wear resistance of the coating heat treatment is carried out at at least 335 ° C, preferably at 350 ° C for 2 hours.
- the finished wire rolls are again optically in the microscope checked for surface defects.
