This is extremely important so that the cover flap 1 also remains standing after such an emergency actuation and cannot fall back against an air cushion in this work space 8, which could represent a great safety risk. As a result of the negative pressure when the piston-side working space is not filled, air would be released from the pressure medium. The difference volume that is naturally missing in this way when filling the piston-side working space due to the smaller volume of the rod-side working space 9 is only a few percent and is insignificant in terms of safety.
