Description

The subject of the present invention is a beam-support-gutter assembly for roofing, in particular for glazed roofing of the type used for covering verandas.

In the production of roofs of this type, profiles are currently used, more particularly extruded profiles. Among these are profiles providing the function of support beam and gutter, these profiles being arranged above the veranda or facades. These veranda facades generally include fixed frames connected to sliding parts constituting doors. For sealing reasons of the facade and protection against snow and ice, the sliding parts are transferred inside the fixed frames.

In known profiles, the gutter is located on the side of the support beam opposite the roof, and therefore constitutes the element that is found on the facade.

A set of this type, limited however to the production of awnings, is found for example in the publication DE-A-2,311,974. This document reveals the use of a box-shaped support beam, adjacent by its vertical face disposed on the side opposite the roof, to a gutter component, the latter being found on the facade relative to the support beam.

Another solution, suitable for small-format roofs, is illustrated in publication DE-A-2,256,669, where the gutter itself is made up of a load-bearing element. It is therefore not a lip of a beam-support-gutter assembly. However, also according to this solution, the roof support function is conferred on the element of the gutter located on the side of the roof, so that again the gutter itself is located in front of the element. support.

For aesthetic reasons, as far as possible, large projections are avoided both on the front and inside of the veranda. Therefore, the fixed frame of the facade is generally located under the gutter, the support beam being found in overhang above the sliding parts.

When the roof is loaded, for example due to snow, there is then a deformation of the support beam which takes a deflection likely in some cases to wedge the sliding doors and thus prevent their opening.

In addition, there still remains a certain projection of the gutter on the facade, which is not considered aesthetic.

The invention aims to remedy these drawbacks by providing a beam-support-gutter assembly in which the support beam rests directly on the fixed frame of the facade, while the beam-support-gutter assembly is found flush of the facade. This object is achieved by providing a beam-support-gutter assembly for roofing, of the type in which the support beam is in the form of a closed box structure and the gutter in the form of an open U-shaped structure, the beam. -support being provided with a support element intended to receive the cover profiles, the support beam being integral with the gutter, in which the gutter is adjacent to the vertical face of the support beam disposed on the side of the roof, the gutter then found on the facade.

Another object of the invention is to provide a beam-support-gutter assembly in which the support element is transferred to the vertical face of the support beam disposed on the side of the roof, below the level of the upper face of said beam.

Yet another object of the invention is to provide a beam-support-gutter assembly in which the upper face of the support beam is inclined downward from the front face opposite the gutter to the vertical face adjacent to the gutter.

The invention also relates to a beam-support-gutter assembly in which the support beam and the gutter are made up of two separate and integral profiles, the profile of the support beam and the profile of the gutter having on their faces intended to come in mutual engagement with the elements of a continuous slide fastening device.

Other preferred embodiments of the invention appear in the sub-claims.

  • - la Figure 1 est une vue schématique en élévation et en coupe d'un mode de réalisation d'un ensemble poutre-support-gouttière suivant l'invention;
  • - la Figure 2 représente, également en élévation et en coupe, un mode de réalisation préféré de l'invention;
  • - la Figure 3 est une vue en plan et en coupe d'une façade de véranda;
These and other objects will be better understood by referring to the appended description, at the same time as to the drawing which represents, by way of example only, various embodiments of the invention and in which:
  • - Figure 1 is a schematic view in elevation and in section of an embodiment of a beam-support-gutter assembly according to the invention;
  • - Figure 2 shows, also in elevation and in section, a preferred embodiment of the invention;
  • - Figure 3 is a plan view in section of a veranda facade;
  • - Figure 4 is a view, in elevation and in section, of a profile of the prior art.

En se reportant tout d'abord aux figures 3 et 4, la façade 1 d'une véranda est généralement constituée d'un cadre fixe 2 comportant une ouverture 3 dans laquelle se dispose une porte constituée d'éléments coulissants 4-4'.Referring first to Figures 3 and 4, the facade 1 of a veranda generally consists of a fixed frame 2 having an opening 3 in which there is a door made of sliding elements 4-4 '.

It is known to use above such a facade a profile as shown in FIG. 4, which comprises a support beam 5 in a box connected to a gutter 6. The gutter 6 is arranged in front and overhangs the fixed frame 2 which is the bearing element of the wall, while the support beam 5 is arranged above the sliding elements 4-4 '.

On the rear face of the support beam 5 is provided a support element 7 on which rest cover profiles 8, which themselves same receive the glazing 9 constituting the roof covering.

In this embodiment of the prior art, the support beam 5 is therefore arranged in overhang relative to the fixed frame 2 of the facade.

In case of overloading of the roof, for example an overload due to snow, the profile consisting of the beam 5 and the gutter 6 pivots around the fixed frame 2, causing the sliding elements 4-4 'to lock.

To overcome this drawback, it is provided according to the invention to use a profile as shown in Figure 1. This profile consists of a support beam 15 having on its vertical face 151 disposed on the side of the roof, an element of support 17 for cover profiles 18, this support beam 15 being adjacent, by its vertical face 151 arranged on the side of the roof, to a gutter 16.

Such a profile, when placed on a veranda facade, rests by the support beam 15 on the fixed frame 2 of the facade, while the elements 4-4 'are transferred under the gutter 16 which is not subject to no effort. In addition, on the aesthetic level, the front face of the support beam 15 comes flush with the fixed frame 2 of the facade, which allows the constitution of a facade having no projection.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention shown in FIG. 2, the support beam 25 and the gutter 26 are formed in the form of two separate sections which can be joined together continuously over their entire length.

Dans ce but, la poutre-support 25 est constituée en forme de caisson et présente sur sa face verticale 251 disposée du côté de la toiture, au niveau respectivement de sa face supérieure et de sa face inférieure, des glissières 252-253.For this purpose, the support beam 25 is made in the form of a box and has on its vertical face 251 disposed on the side of the roof, at the level of its upper face and its lower face, respectively, of the slides 252-253.

The gutter 26 has on its side wall 261 coming into contact with the support beam 25 a top 262 coming to engage in the slide 252 and is extended at its lower part by an arm 263 coming to engage in the slide 253.

The lower wall 264 of the gutter 26 is connected to the side wall 261 by a projection 265 constituting a box. This projection is dimensioned on the one hand to receive the slide 253 and, on the other hand, to bring the lower wall 264 of the gutter back to the level of the lower wall of the support beam 25.

The second side wall 266 of the gutter likewise has, at its lower part, an arm 267, while the connection of this side wall 266 to the lower wall 264 is produced by a junction constituting a box 268.

In this embodiment, the support element 254 is transferred below the level of the upper face 255 of the support beam, and the upper face 255 of the support beam 25 is inclined downward from the front face 256 opposite the gutter to the vertical face adjacent to the gutter, at an angle corresponding to the slope of the roof.

Also according to this embodiment, the level of the support element 254 is determined as a function of the slope of the roof and the width of the gutter 26 so that the side wall 266 of the gutter, which is the same height as the side wall 261 comes into contact with the underside of the cover profile 28, the sealing of the roof relative to the glazing 29 being ensured by the interposition of a seal 30 between the stiffener 269 'and the glazing 29.

According to this preferred embodiment also, the vertical face 256 of the support beam 25, disposed on the side opposite to the roof, is extended by a guide 257, and a second guide 264 'is provided on the bottom wall 264 of the gutter. . The spacing between the guides 257 and 264 'corresponds to the width of the fixed frame 2 and of the sliding elements 4-4' coming to be placed under this assembly.

As noted in the drawing, the fixed frame 2 is found under the support beam 25, and flush with the front face 256 thereof, which provides a good support function allowing spans greater than those reached using conventional devices and also ensures the desired aesthetic finish of the facade.

Furthermore, the arm 267 on the face of the gutter facing inward allows the attachment of furnishing elements, such as drapery support and the like.

The distance between the box-shaped projection 268 and this arm 267 allows the piercing of said arm without risk to the integrity of the walls of the gutter.

This embodiment of FIG. 2 not only has great advantages in terms of the support function and the aesthetics of the veranda produced, but it is also extremely economical.

This economy is first found in the production of profiles. It is indeed much more economical to produce two separate profiles of medium size rather than a single profile of large size, ensuring both the function of gutter and support beam.

In addition, significant technical problems, particularly in terms of the flatness of surfaces, arise when producing, in the same profile, an open structure adjacent to a closed box structure.

Finally, the production of an assembly produced from two separate sections allows the use, for these separate sections, of extruders of lesser capacity than for a single combined section, while respecting the overall dimension requirements of the 'together.
