Abstract
Se describen métodos y aparatos para el tratamiento de una cavidad o lumen corporal en donde un fluido y/o gas calentado puede ser introducido a través de un catéter dentro del área de tratamiento dentro del cuerpo contenido en uno o más miembros inflables/expandibles. El catéter también puede tener elementos de detección de presión y temperatura opcionales los cuales pueden permitir el control de la presión y temperatura dentro de la zona de tratamiento y también evitar que la presión exceda una presión de los miembros inflables/expandibles para de esta manera contener el área de tratamiento entre estos miembros inflables/expandibles. Opcionalmente se puede utilizar un fluido enfriado, a temperatura ambiente o calentado tal como agua para finalizar rápidamente la sesión de tratamiento.
