So there was a COVID outbreak on Martha's Vineyard with about 63 people testing positive just after Obama's maskless birthday bash but very little has been made of that fact in the media. Remember last year when 500,000 maskless people gathered in Sturgis for Bike Week and the media had an orgy calling it a super spreader event even though there were just 70 positive COVID cases in the aftermath? Gross hypocrisy anyone?... The Golf Channel is an older man's porn for many (except with less shame)...  The withdrawal from Afghanistan literally happened over Donald Rumsfeld's dead body. Meanwhile Dick Cheney had lots to say about Trump being mean to his daughter but oddly quiet over Joe Biden's FUBAR handling of Afghanistan. Cheney is a pimp... Petrified Lizards would be a good name for a band... It will be interesting to see how much, if any, campaigning President Biden does for candidates in the 2022 elections. My guess is very, very little. Candidates will probably tell VP Harris point blank to stay away... Andrew Luck retired just before the 2019 NFL season and we haven't heard anything from him since. My guess is that he's happy in retirement...

The original childhood obesity test... Everyone seems to be saying that Joe Biden is bringing back all the things from the Carter Administration like gas lines, war in the Middle East, inflation, etc. I can deal with those and the inevitable bellbottom pants but really not looking forward to the return of naturally hairy vaginas. Seriously not looking forward to that... Can anyone remember when half a million people attended the Sturgis motorcycle rally last year and there was basically no Covid related issues either before or after?  Yeah funny how the media seemed to skip over that event after warning that everyone was going to die... Who knew? Hollywood actually started as a Christian community planned with a Methodist church on every block... Truly random aside - I would be greatly amused if the legal name of Vermont was changed to "Vermonth." Pronounce ver-month. Or failing that "Vermouth" would also do...  

Stuff I found interesting or amusing and thought I'd share.

- Chinese virologist claims she has proof COVID-19 was made in Wuhan lab. Many scientists have been pointing at this very thing for a while now.

- How Trump defied the experts and forged a breakthrough in the Middle East. Making the US energy independent also played a large role.

- More than 20 Belgian doctors against Corona hysteria. (PDF) "We argue that the measures to get the coronavirus under control are disproportionate and do more harm than good." There were also another 200 Irish doctors voicing the same concerns. 

- Daylight Savings should be permanent. I've been in favor of this for as long as I've had this blog.

- The Sturgis biker rally did not cause 266,796 cases of COVID-19. I read the first dozen pages of the study when it came out and it was immediately clear that it was crap. The same sort of modeling that projected 2.2 million Wuhan virus deaths in the US. Pure crap!
