- Responsible, Respectful Leadership: It is time for our elected officials to led by example and end the devicive rhetorric and work together.
- Education is key to Maine's future. Maine needs strong academic programs that can lay the foundation for all of Maine's workforce needs.

The persons I most admire and whose example I would like to follow are Ghandi and Martin Luther King Jr. Their unyeilding commitment to true Justice leaves me in awe. I greatly admire the courage these two men had to stand tall in the face of blind hatred only to be beaten and jailed by their oppressors, without ever once reaising a hand in anger or vengence. It is courage like this that can truely change the world.
Some Elmo song that my daughter keeps listening to.
The most significnt differance is that the House has the sole power of impeachment with the Seante having the authority to try impeachment cases. Additionally, the House must put forth bills raising revinue, prior to the Senate amending or approving the bill.
It may be benificial, but is certainly not a prerequisite.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
