|I am a life long resident of Fort Kent. I was raised on a potato farm where I developed a strong work ethic and have applied that ethic as a practicing Dentist for 44 years, as an active member of my church, as a volunteer in the community and as Ski Patrol director.
- During the course of my career, I have had countless discussions with people about the impact politics has on them; both positive and negative. The extensive understanding I have gained of the people of District 1 enables me to effectively be their voice in Agusta.
- I’m running because the people of House District 1, including me, are experiencing many economical and social challenges brought on by the present political policies in our state. I know what people are facing because I’ve heard their voices and I understand and agree with their concerns.
- I am a man of action, so I’ve decided to roll up my sleeves and get involved. There’s one common theme I’m hearing right now: it’s time for a change for the better.
Legislative policies that contribute to the rising cost of living need to change. Overbearing government regulations that suppress business growth or deter the establishment of new businesses must be corrected. The care and support of registered Maine residents must be met before rendering services to all non-residents.
Jesus Christ is the perfect example because of the love He demonstrated to all people.
Honesty, integrity, loyalty, empathy, and a strong work ethic
I am honest and really care for people.
To listen to the constituents concerns. To speak for and vote in accordance with the majority views of the people.
The assassination of President Kennedy.
Working on a farm growing potatoes.
The Bible because living by the principles it teaches will always provide the best outcomes.
For politics to be effective, it requires teamwork.
Transparency and accountability are the only way to restore the people’s trust and faith in the government.

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
