Sharon Treat
Sharon Anglin Treat (b. January 30, 1956) is a former Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 79 from 2006 to 2014. She also served in the chamber from 1990 to 1996. Treat did not seek re-election in 2014.
Treat served in the Maine State Senate from 1996 to 2004.
Biography
Treat's professional experience includes working as the Executive Director of the National Legislative Association on Prescription Drug Prices; coordinator of the Environmental Studies Program at Colby College; adjunct professor at Bowdoin College, the University of Southern Maine, the University of Maine Law School and the University of New England; and as a lawyer.

Treat won re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 79. Treat was unopposed in the June 12 Democratic primary and defeated William Guerrette (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

She has been a member of the American Public Health Association, Maine Bar Association, Maine Women's Lobby and the National Resource Council Maine and a Trustee of the Hubboard Free Library, and has served on the boards of Maine Equal Justice Partner, Lakes Monitoring Association and the Gardiner Library Association.[6]
