I live in Dittmer, Missouri, a small town in Jefferson County. I am a military wife, mother of 7, grandmother and a small business owner of Turf One Landscape Management in Cedar Hill. I am married for 15 years to my incredible husband, Rich Williams also of Dittmer who is a Seabee in the United States Navy. Together we have raised our children in Jefferson County. All of our children have graduated or are currently attending the Northwest R1 School District.

  • I am not a politician, I’m an American Patriot and will make sure our voices are heard in Jefferson City.
  • I will fight for our District, State and Country for the freedom that we all deserve.
  • I am a believer of the philosophy, that we must leave our country better than we found it. This is our moral obligation.

Education: Pre-k-12. I will protect and fight for the funding rights of our school systems. All children deserve to receive a quality public school education.

Budget/Finances/Taxes

I am Honest, Caring, Motivated, Passionate, Relentless and trustworthy.

To represent the voices of their constituents. To approve or reject bills or laws that would effect or benefit your districts demographics. To make your citizens proud that you are their representation in Jefferson City. I believe that being a good talker and also a good listener is extremely important.

My Legacy: To know that I made a difference. That my children know what love feels like and to never forget that the only thing in life that matters is what you give or do for someone else. I live by the simple statement of: "They say you die twice in your life... the day you stop breathing and then a bit later when someone says your name for the last time". I hope that my legacy is able to speak my name for a very long time.

Space Shuttle Challenger disaster
January 28, 1986

I was only 5 years old. It was a Tuesday and on Monday our pre-school class did a project with 2 liter bottles that we turned into space shuttles. We knew the Challenger was taking off to space. My mother and grandmother were tearful as they watched the local news and I didn't understand why. They gathered my siblings and I into the living room where they told us what happened. They explained that the astronauts on the Challenger had passed away. The most pivotable moment was when they explained to me that the astronauts had family watching as the space shuttle took off and all those family members witnessed their perishing. At 5 years old, I understood just exactly what had happened and it had a profound effect on me.

My very first job was at the fast food restaurant, McDonalds. I was 16 years old when I started working and I worked at McDonald's until I was 18 years old.

I would say my biggest struggle so far is overcoming my story. The first several years of my adulthood when I was 17-26 years old were really hard. I faced domestic abuse, experienced the loss of my husband to suicide while raising 4 children at that time. We faced hardships, challenges and ultimately growth. I got remarried to my amazing husband, Rich and he adopted my 4 children. We went on to have 2 more children and then adopted another daughter together. I say that overcoming my story has been my greatest life struggle. 1 person and 1 action effected so many. This was a choice that was chosen for me, but not chosen by me.

I believe that one of our state's greatest challenge over the next decade will be the financial recovery from Covid-19. I believe that through mask mandates and mandatory vaccinations that we have lost our medical freedom's and everyone in the state of Missouri feels the implications of that.

In my opinion the benefit's of a unicameral state legislature would be that passing of laws could be more efficient and possibly cost less. I feel that a drawback would be that a unicameral state legislature would eliminate the checks and balance system within legislation.

I do not believe that it's beneficial for state legislators to have previous experience in government or politics. I believe that educating yourself regarding the laws and bills that are presented and not having a personal agenda is what is needed. Someone who is a true Patriot for the state and country. I believe that it's beneficial to have average American citizens as political decision makers who love their freedom and the people that work everyday defending it.

I do believe that it is beneficial to build healthy relationships with other legislators. I feel that people who work together for the greater good of our state and country is absolutely beneficial. At the end of the day we are all American citizens and we have one common goal, "to protect the freedoms we are entitled to".

I always embrace the opportunity for personal growth and if the opportunity presents itself I absolutely would.

I do believe that compromise is both necessary and desirable for policymaking. When voting for bills and laws whether you win or lose compromise is necessary to move forward.

Scorecards

See also: State legislative scorecards and State legislative scorecards in Missouri

A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.

Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
