L'invention concerne un procédé de fixation de feuille permettant de fixer une feuille relative à un article absorbant, le procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend : la production d'une feuille unique par la découpe d'une feuille continue présentant des éléments de représentation fournis de manière répétée sur celle-ci entre les éléments de représentation à l'aide d'une partie de coupe ; le déplacement de la feuille unique produite vers un emplacement de convergence avec une autre feuille ; la fixation de la feuille unique à l'autre feuille au niveau de l'emplacement de convergence d'une manière telle que l'extrémité arrière découpée de la feuille unique est positionnée en une position prescrite sur l'autre feuille ; le transport de la feuille continue dans le sens de transport vers la partie de coupe ; l'obtention des informations de modification d'une position de référence pour des éléments de représentation fournis sur la feuille continue ; la modification de la vitesse à laquelle la feuille continue est transportée sur la base des informations de modification ; l'obtention d'informations de fluctuation concernant la longueur de la feuille unique ; et la commande d'un rouleau de coupe et la modification de la position prescrite sur la base des informations de fluctuation.
