- each of the viewing state analysis units 56 and 64 determines whether the user is in front of the television 2, whether the user is operating the mobile terminal 3, or the user's line of sight faces the television 2. Analyzes the state of whether or not
- whether or not the user is in front of the television 2 is determined by the viewing status analysis units 56 and 64 using the strength of the other party's radio waves received by the mobile terminal 3 and the television 2 associated with the user.
- the determination as to whether or not the user is operating the mobile terminal 3 may be performed as follows.
- the viewing state analysis unit 64 acquires an operation log such as a browsing state of the Web content left by the browsing processing unit 623 included in the mobile terminal 3, and the viewing state analysis unit 64 allows the user to move the mobile terminal within a certain time from the present time. 3 is analyzed, whether or not an operation for browsing some content is analyzed, and the user is operating the mobile terminal 3 when there is an operation within a certain time. What is necessary is just to judge.
- the viewing state analysis unit 56 applies the face recognition technology to the image in front of the television 2 acquired by the camera 25 to detect the user's line of sight. What is necessary is just to judge.
- the browsing processing unit 623 is realized centering on the central control unit 31, the storage unit 32, and the communication unit 34.
- the browsing processing unit 553 of the television 2 is realized centering on the central control unit 21, the storage unit 22, the communication unit 24, and the like.
- the browsing processing units 553 and 623 cause the image / audio providing unit 54 to provide content such as Web based on the user's operation (such as inputting a character or selecting a URL of a link), and allows the user to browse the content.
- the browsing processing units 553 and 623 store a log such as the time browsed by the user, the page being browsed, and the operation content in the storage unit 32.
- the browsing processing unit 623 also performs other processing, which will be described later.
- a state in which the user wants to concentrate on the video content from now on there is a state in which the user has finished browsing other content. More specifically, for example, it can be considered that the user has finished viewing the linked web content displayed when the user selects the ticker information message or the title 72 in the CM list 71.
- the viewing state analysis units 56 and 64 allow the user to browse other content. It is determined that the state is finished.
- the above-described viewing state analysis units 56 and 64 operate while communicating with each other.
- the content determined by one of the viewing status analysis units 56 and 64 may be acquired by communication with the other, or measurement results and history information before the determination is exchanged between the viewing status analysis units 56 and 64. , Each may make a determination.
- the additional content output control unit 55 of the television 2 is realized centering on the central control unit 21 and the storage unit 22.
- the additional content output control unit 55 controls provision of additional content to the user based on the viewing situation acquired by the viewing situation analysis unit 56.
- FIG. 14 is a diagram illustrating an example of a processing flow of the additional content output control unit 55.
- the output determination unit 551 included in the additional content output control unit 55 determines whether or not the viewing situation acquired by the viewing situation analysis unit 56 includes the presence of a user in front of the television 2 (step S501). .
- the output determination unit 551 skips the processes in steps S502 to S504.
- the output determination unit 551 confirms whether the setting is to display a ticker when the user is in front of the television 2 (step S502).
- step S503 If it is set to display the ticker (Y in step S502), the output determination unit 551 determines to output a ticker information message, and the list processing unit 552 included in the additional content output control unit 55 acquires the information. Based on the ticker information, a process for displaying the ticker on the screen is performed (step S503).
- the output determination unit 551 determines to output a message of ticker information, and performs the process of step S503.
- the output determination unit 551 skips step S503.
- the list processing unit 552 controls the audio / video providing unit 54 to display a message in which the time closest to the current time is set and a certain number of messages before and after the message of the acquired ticker information. .
- the list processing unit 552 determines an appropriate user as a target of each message according to the user's preference set in advance or estimated from the past operation history, and displays the user's icon at the head of each message. . By doing so, it is possible to reduce the load of the user viewing the message.
- the user can select a message displayed by the list processing unit 552 and perform some action.
- Actions that a user can take on a message include an operation for checking the message so that it can be easily viewed later, an operation for introducing the message to a friend via SNS, and an operation for searching for a message that has been checked in the past.
- the additional content output control unit 55 controls the display of the additional content based on whether or not the user has finished browsing the content other than the video content being broadcast. More specifically, when the user finishes browsing (Y in step S505), the output determination unit 551 determines that the synopsis information is output, and the list processing unit 552 explains the synopsis based on the synopsis information. Processing for displaying a sentence on a screen (for example, an area where the CM list 71 is displayed in FIG. 3) is performed (step S506). If the user has not finished browsing or has not browsed in the first place (N in step S505), the output determination unit 551 skips the process in step S506. At this time, the list processing unit 552 controls to display only the records for which the past time is set in the acquired synopsis information.
- the additional content output control unit 55 controls whether or not to output the CM list 71.
- the output determination unit 551 determines whether or not the current timing is that the CM is being broadcast (step S507). If it is the timing at which the CM is not broadcast (N in step S507), the output determination unit 551 skips the processes in steps S508 to S510. If it is time to broadcast the CM (Y in step S507), the output determination unit 551 further confirms the conditions. Specifically, even if the setting is made to output the CM list 71 (Y in step S508) or the setting is made so as not to output the CM list 71 (N in step S508), the user is within a certain period from the present time.
- the output determination unit 551 determines that the CM list 71 is displayed, and the list processing unit 552 causes the CM list 71 to be displayed. Is displayed (step S510). If the user has performed any operation on the CM list 71 within a certain period from now, the output determination unit 551 may determine to display the CM list 71 even at a timing when the CM is not broadcast. .
- the list processing unit 552 displays information on a certain number of CM contents from the past to the future including the current time in the CM list 71.
- a flag to be checked later is added to the item of the CM list information stored in the storage unit 22 corresponding to the CM content checked by the user, and a mark indicating that the item is checked is added to the item of the CM list.
- Control to do There are several ways for this user to check CM content. One is a method of checking the CM content by pressing a button on the remote controller or the like when the CM content is output as video content. In this case, the CM list 71 may not be displayed in advance. The other is a method of checking CMs from the displayed CM list 71. With this method, it is possible to check the CM content for past CMs for which the button could not be pressed. Further, the list processing unit 552 may perform control so that the CM list 71 is scrolled with time.
- the additional content output control unit 62 of the mobile terminal 3 is realized with the central control unit 31 and the storage unit 32 as the center.
- the additional content output control unit 62 controls provision of additional content to the user based on the viewing situation acquired by the viewing situation analysis unit 64.
- the processing contents of the output determination unit 621 and the list processing unit 622 included in the additional content output control unit 62 of the portable terminal 3 are similar to the processing contents of the output determination unit 551 and the list processing unit 552, but the viewing situation is viewed. Obtained from the situation analysis unit 64, the output control is performed on the image / sound providing unit 63, and the additional content output control unit 62 does not perform the control related to the display of the synopsis information (steps S505 and S506), but instead The difference is that the content to be displayed when the user selects the message of the ticker information or the record (title 72) of the CM list 71 is switched based on whether the user is in front of the television 2 or not. Since the mobile device 3 has a small display screen and does not display video content, it is a matter of course that the audio / video providing unit 63 outputs the additional content to the display panel of the display operation unit 33 in a timeline format, for example.
- FIG. 15 is a diagram illustrating a part of the processing of the additional content output control unit 62 of the mobile terminal 3.
- the additional content output control unit 62 performs the process shown in FIG. 15 after performing the same process as the additional content output control unit 55.
- the list processing unit 622 determines whether the user is in front of the television based on the viewing situation acquired by the viewing situation analysis unit 64 (step S512).
- the list processing unit 622 instructs the browsing processing unit 623 to display the Web content at the first URL of the CM list information or ticker information. Is performed (step S513).
- the list processing unit 622 performs a process of instructing the browsing processing unit 623 to display the content at the second URL of the CM list information and ticker information (step S514).
- the browsing processing unit 623 acquires the linked content indicated by the URL and displays it on the screen. Process to be displayed.
- the list processing unit 622 transmits access information including the access time and the URL to the server 4.
- the CM list information and ticker information are described in a form including a plurality of URLs.
- the list processing unit 622 instructs the browsing processing unit 623 to display the linked content indicated by the acquired URL.
- the URL (first URL) accessed when the user is in front of the television 2 stores relatively simple content that does not include a moving image and does not take time to browse, and the user is in front of the television 2. If a rich content such as a moving image is placed in the URL (second URL) to be accessed when there is not, the possibility of the user derailing from the video content and not returning to viewing the video content can be reduced. Become.
- the additional content output control unit 55 of the television 2 may also provide the linked content.
- the second URL may be selected only when a special operation such as a long press at the time of selection is performed.
- the display area of the television 2 may be divided so that the video content area and the linked content area are displayed separately.
- the access information transmitted by the additional content output control units 55 and 62 includes information for identifying CM content and main content, user attributes (such as gender and age), and information for identifying a ticker message.
- a coupon may be provided to a user who has browsed linked content such as a message of ticker information.
- the coupon processing unit 65 is realized centering on the central control unit 31, the storage unit 32, the communication unit 34, and the like.
- the coupon process part 65 acquires the information of a coupon from the server which transmits a coupon to the portable terminal 3 of the user who browsed the linked content.
- Information on coupons to be acquired includes coupon images, expiration dates, information for identifying available stores, valid / invalid flags (those that are acquired when browsing web content are normally set to valid), etc. There is.
- the coupon processing unit 65 can display an image (for example, a barcode) of a coupon selected by the user, communicate with a cash register using wireless, and can receive a discount at a store using them.
- coupon information associated with the message of the ticker information by the broadcast station may be included in the broadcast signal and distributed.
- the coupon acquisition unit 65 monitors whether or not the content such as the linked video is browsed or whether or not the CM included in the CM list 71 is selected. Activate the coupon you want.
- the coupon processing unit 65 constantly monitors the position of the mobile terminal 3 using GPS or the like, and informs that when approaching a store corresponding to an effective coupon.
- a notification method there are a method of reproducing CM sound, displaying a CM image on a standby screen, and notifying by sound or vibration.
- the list processing units 552 and 622 may control whether or not to display a message of ticker information associated with the coupon on the screen according to whether or not the coupon has been downloaded. Whether or not the message of the ticker information is associated with the coupon may be determined by whether or not the URL that triggered the acquisition of the coupon is associated with each message.
- the reminder unit 66 is realized centering on the central control unit 31 and the storage unit 32.
- the reminder unit 66 provides a message that prompts the user to browse the CM content and acquire / use the coupon when the period during which the checked CM content is not browsed later becomes a certain period.
