Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'administration d'un agent thérapeutique chez un sujet à un rythme soutenu et pendant une certaine durée, ledit dispositif étant d'une taille, d'une forme et d'une conception telles à ce que l'agent thérapeutique puisse être administré dans la région de la colonne vertébrale du sujet. Ledit dispositif comprend un premier substrat polymère allongé comportant une extrémité proximale et une extrémité distale, et présentant un diamètre ou une largeur d'environ 1 à environ 10 mm et une longueur d'environ 4 à environ 35 cm; éventuellement un second substrat polymère allongé positionné au sein du premier substrat polymère; et au moins un agent thérapeutique, disposé dans ou sur le premier substrat ou le second substrat polymère ou les deux, ledit agent thérapeutique pouvant ainsi diffuser dans la région de la colonne vertébrale du sujet.
