Abstract
有機EL材料含有溶液は、有機EL材料と溶媒とを含有する。
有機EL材料は、ホストとドーパントとを含む。ホストは、低分子有機EL材料からなる有機EL機能性部位Aと、この有機EL機能性部位Aに結合して低分子有機EL材料を前記溶媒に可溶化させる可溶化部位Bと、を有する次の式、A-B-E(Eは末端基を表す)で表される。
ここで、Aは、アントラセン中心骨格を有する低分子有機EL材料である。
Bは、下記(3)式と(4)式との連結によって構成される。(3)式はユニット中にオルトまたはメタ位での結合を含み、(4)式はユニット中にパラ位の結合を含む。(3)式で構成される部位数をa、下記(4)で構成される部位数をbとした場合に3≦a+b≦20であり、かつ、a≧bである。
