Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:A pyrazoline compound of formula I (R1 and R2 are alkyl or residue forming a ring with N; X is unsubstituted pyridyl, quinolyl group, etc.).
EXAMPLE: 1-Pyridyl-( 2 )-3-( p-diethylaminostyryl )-5-( p-diethylamino phenyl )- pyrazoline.
USE: Useful as a charge transfer material of the photosensitive substances comprising organic photoconductive materials, having a higher sensitivity than even.
PROCESS: A tin complex salt of a hydrazino compound of formula II is heated with a distyryl ketone of formula III in dimethyl sulfoxide under heating to give the title compound in a high purification yield of about 80%.
