Description

Wasserführendes Haushaltgerät, insbesondere Waschmaschine Water-bearing household appliance, especially a washing machine
The invention relates to a water-carrying household appliance, in particular a washing machine, which is connected to a first water supply line for cold water and a second water supply line for hot water, the water supply lines being connected to a mixer tap from which water can be filled into a tub through a supply line. Such a household appliance is already known from US 4 147 297. A washing machine is described there, which comprises two feed lines, each of which is connected to a cold or hot water connection. The feed lines are connected to a mixer tap that includes two solenoid valves. Depending on the opening state of the electrovalves, hot, warm or cold water is let into a washing machine tub through a feed hose.
The known washing machine comprises a first switch for detecting a predetermined temperature level of the hot water. The user of the washing machine can choose whether he wants to wash with hot or only warm water. If he selects hot water, a hot water valve only lets in hot water as long as a certain, predetermined temperature value is not exceeded. However, when the temperature value is reached, the switch is closed. This actuates the electrovalve, which also allows cold water to enter the tub. On the other hand, when the user has selected warm water for another washing operation, he operates an operation switch. In this case too, the hot water valve is initially open on its own. A second switch detects a temperature level that corresponds to a predetermined temperature of the warm water. If this is exceeded, a second switch is closed, so that cold water also runs into the tub in this case.
The known washing machine thus permits washing operation at two different, predetermined temperatures. However, the choice of washing programs is limited to exactly these two temperatures. A disadvantage of the known method is that it is not always sensible to first fill the hot water into the tub and then to add the cold water according to the desired temperature. Hot water can also cause dirt to solidify in the Items of laundry that are difficult to remove afterwards. An example of this are protein compounds which harden through coagulation of the protein in the laundry item. Coagulation only takes place above a certain temperature, which is just exceeded by filling with hot water beforehand.
It is the object of the invention to develop a water-carrying household appliance in such a way that it can be used flexibly at different temperatures.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in a washing machine of the type mentioned at the outset in that the mixer tap is integrated in a control device by means of which the temperature of the water entering the tub can be regulated.
The invention makes it possible to set a predetermined temperature for any program without this being dependent on the temperature of the hot water made available from the hot water line. This can be at very different values, for example at 40 ° C, but also at 80 ° C and cannot be defined beforehand. Therefore, the feeding of feed water with a not exactly regulated feed temperature in a water-bearing household appliance, i.e. in particular in a dishwasher or in a washing machine, according to the state of the art in the treatment of the dishes to be cleaned, but especially of a laundry item to be washed, with considerable risks connected.
Only in accordance with the invention can the inlet temperature of the water fed in be continuously adapted and changed. Via a mixer tap that communicates with both a cold water and a hot water pipe, only feed water with a regulated temperature is fed in at all times. In this way, the hot water is used effectively. The mixer tap, since it is part of a control device, is in constant data exchange with a controller, so that the temperature required for the respective washing or cleaning process is set exactly. The introduction of the water which has the correct temperature according to the invention shortens the entire washing process, since a subsequent mixing of cold and hot water is no longer necessary.
Advantageous developments of the invention result from the subclaims.
The temperature of the water entering the tub can advantageously be predetermined by a program control unit, depending on the program running in the household appliance. A specific temperature of the incoming water is selected for each program. If the control can use the program control unit of the household appliance, then hardly any electrical energy is required in the cleaning or washing process. Thereby The most effective temperature can also be selected in conjunction with a detergent added to the water, both from the start of the cleaning or washing process and in the overall process using existing hot water. A precisely determined temperature of the feed water can be selected even before the cleaning or washing process begins.
In another development of the invention, an additional heater is present in the tub, by means of which the water supplied from the feed line can be heated to an even higher temperature. This only has to be used if a cleaning process is to be carried out, the temperature of which is still above the temperature of the hot water supplied.
It also proves to be advantageous if fuzzy logic is integrated in the program control unit. Then the program control unit can also be adapted to changing conditions within the household appliance. The invention creates a cleaning or washing process in which electrical energy and also time are saved to a considerable extent, since a longer heating process is eliminated. Only occasionally will it be necessary to additionally switch on the heating in the tub.

A washing machine 1 (FIG. 1) has a tub 3 in a housing 2, in which a washing drum 4 is rotatably mounted via a shaft 5 and via a drive unit, not shown, can be driven. The laundry drum 4 is loaded with a laundry item 7 via a filling opening (not shown). Hot water is supplied via a water supply line 8 and cold water is supplied to a mixer tap 10 via a water supply line 9. This is connected on the output side to the tub 3 via a feed line 11.
In accordance with a temperature of the washing solution measured by a temperature sensor 12, which is preferably located in the vicinity of the bottom of the washing container 3, water is introduced into the washing container 3 via the feed line 11. For this purpose, the temperature of the washing solution is obtained as signal variable x 'in a converter 13 assigned to the temperature sensor 12. This is fed to a subtractor 14, which forms the difference x d from the signal variable x 'and a reference variable w generated by a program control unit 15. The command variable w is the variable whose value, ie the target value, the task variable should assume under specified conditions. It is fed to the subtractor 14 from the outside, ie via the program control unit 15. From the difference value X d , a controller 16 generates signal quantities VR-I, and y R2 , on the basis of which solenoid valves 17, 18 in the mixer tap 10 are opened or closed in order to mix water from the cold and hot water from the two water supply lines 8, 9 to supply the desired temperature to the tub 3 via the feed line 11. The mixer tap 10 thus acts as an actuator in the control loop.
If the water flowing out of the mixer tap 10 does not yet have a sufficiently high temperature, it is brought to the required high temperature via a heater 19 which is arranged in the bottom region of the tub 3 and serves as an additional heater. The heater 19 is also connected to the program control unit 15 via a signal line.
A fuzzy logic unit is preferably arranged in the program control unit 15, which additional measurement variables of the laundry detergent, for. B. the surface tension or the pH value is taken into account.
The invention provides a water-carrying household appliance, such as a washing machine, with a mixer tap 10, which is part of a control device.
