536617 五、發明說明(1) 發明之詳細說明: 本發明乃有關由具二組線之高”線密度(linear density),, 之雙層織布而成之抗穿透材料,及由此材料所得之製品。 由高強度纖維所製之抗穿透製品例如是防彈背心,g貞盗, 車輛儀錶板及防禦盾牌爲技藝上所知。就許多應用而言, 尤其是防彈背心,纖維是製成平織或針織布料。此等布料 可塗佈或浸漬於基料中而得硬質之防彈材料,或不配用基 料而得軟質防彈材料。 防彈織布爲已知,尤其是由歐洲專利3 1 〇, 1 9 9號所揭示 。該專利指出由具有高強度及高模數之超高分子量複絲所 組成,而經紗和緯紗之聚合物材料不同。 俄國專利2,096,542號發表之防彈背心用的防彈布乃由 聚對伸苯基對酞醯胺(PPTA)製之經線及緯線所組成,其中 經線對緯線的密度比小於4 · 1 7。典型上,經線之”線密度 (linear density)”爲143至5 8 8分特(dtex),而緯線之線密度 爲5 88至93 0分特,亦即緯線之線密度等於或大於經線。 其中特別指出經線對緯線之線密度比爲1 . 5 9至4.1 7時,具 有改良的偏轉性。 世界專利〇〇/42,246號發表之抗穿透材料含至少一種兩層 布,其乃由3.5至20線/厘米,且線密度至少420分特之第一 組線,和0.5至8線/厘米,且線密度爲至少50分特之第二組線, 垂直地交叉著,其中第一組線之線密度對第二組線之線密度比 >4· 2,尤佳爲大於7· 5。在較佳之實施例中,第一組線乃對芳 536617 五、發明說明(2) 釀肢紗所製之經線,而弟一*組線及聚醋紗所製之緯線,而第一* 組線對第二組線之線/厘米數比> 1。雖然此製品之防彈效果 極佳,但是”斜交織(cross-plying)”之缺點是製程困難且複雜, 而且有產生斜父織固有之弱點的危險性。 如今我們已發現抗穿透材料,具傳統材料的優點,而無其 缺點。爲達此目的,本發明之抗穿透材料包含至少至一種雙 層織布,其中第一層含第一組線:3·5至20線/厘米,線密度 至少210分特,並佔至少65%的布重;第二組線:0.5-16線/厘 米,線密度至少50分特,而第二組線和第一組線垂直,第一 組線對第二組線之線/厘米數比>1;第二層含第一組線:0.5 至16線/厘米,線密度至少50分特,第二組線:3.5至20線/ 厘米,線密度至少210分特,並佔至少65%的布重,第二組紗 和第一組線垂直,第二組線對第一組線之線/厘米數比> 1,, 且其中第一層中的第一、二組線分別和第二層中的第一、 二組線平行排列。 較佳爲抗穿透材料中第一層的第一組線對第二組線的線 密度比,以及第二層中第二組線對第一組線之線密度比> 1, 尤佳爲〉4.2,而最佳爲>5.9。特別有效的比是6_6.6。在第 一層中第一組線及第二層中第二組線之線數爲3·5-20線/ 厘米。尤佳爲4至15線/厘米,最佳爲5-12線/厘米。在第 一層中第二組線及第二層中第一組線之線數爲0.5-16線/厘 米;較佳爲0.5至8,尤佳爲1至6,而最好是2至4線/厘米 。在每層中,線密度至少2 1 0分特之線至少佔每層布重之 536617 五、發明說明(3) 65%。較佳爲此等線佔該層布重之至少70%,尤佳爲75%。 爲有效率之製造的理由,較佳爲第一層之第一組線及第二 層之桌一組線爲經線;而第一層之第二組線及第二層之第 二組線爲緯線。在每層布中第二組線和第一組線是互相垂 直。雖然此兩組線是大約互相垂直,但也未必是需要如此, 第二組線可和第一組線是900以外之角度。此兩層不用斜 度亦可牢固在一起。 抗穿透材料而包含第一層之第二組線(較佳爲緯線)及第 二層之第一組線(較佳爲經線),紗之組成物並非本發明之關 鍵。但較佳爲此等紗具高強度及高模數、當此等線選自聚 酯,聚乙烯,聚丙烯,聚醯胺及芳族醯胺紗時,尤其是須如此 。最好是第一層之第二組線及第二層之第一組線是由聚酯 紗所製。 第一層之第二組線(較佳爲經線)及第二層之第二組線( 較佳爲緯線)具高強度及高模數,最好是選自芳族醯胺、聚 乙烯及聚對伸苯基苯并雙噚唑(PBO)紗,特別是對芳族醯胺 。最好是聚對伸苯基對酞醯胺(PPTA)。在較佳的體系中, 經及緯線由不同的聚合物所製,例如較佳爲經線爲對芳族 醯胺紗,而緯線爲聚酯紗,或反之亦可。 只要所欲之線密度比有符合,則第一層之第一組線及第 二層之第二組線的線密度可爲至少2 1 0分特,較佳爲2 1 0 至6720分特,尤佳爲420至3360分特,更佳是420至1680 分特,而最佳爲約84 0至1100分特。第一層之第二組線及 第二層之第一組線的線密度選爲至少約50分特,尤佳爲50 536617 五、發明說明(4) 至280分特,而最好是約80至140分特。 “線”一詞乃指任何種類的線,如短纖維,檢短紗,捨長紗, 未捻之摻雜紗,而較佳爲未捻之長紗。 在較佳之實施例中,雙層中之各層的線是縫在一起,或較 佳爲用粘著劑粘在一起。粘著材料可例如當成整理劑塗在 線或布上之粘著劑。粘著材料亦可在兩層布中形成粘著層 。粘著材料包含熱塑性、彈性體及熱固性材料。亦可採用 加壓及/或加熱可熔之材料做爲第一層之第二組線及第二 層之第一組線的至少一部分,於是第二組線可和第二組線, 而第二組線和第一組線分別粘合,並任意使兩層布粘合。 熱塑性材料包含聚烯烴如聚乙烯和聚丙烯,聚醯胺,聚酯,或 其混合物。彈性體材料包含Kraton'橡膠,砂橡膠等。熱 固性材料包含環氧樹脂,聚酯樹脂,酚樹脂,乙烯酯樹脂等。 在另一較佳之實施例中,抗穿透材料之至少一外層有保 護層。保護層可爲熱塑性,熱固性或彈性體材料,或此等材 料之混合物。保護層可防止布受到過度的磨損並改進防彈 效果。 抗穿透材料包含至少一組兩層織布,其非斜交並任意粘 合在一起。織布包含用所有類型的織法,如平織、鍛織、 方平織、斜紋織等所得織物。較佳爲平織布。 抗穿透製品可含至少一組雙層織布,但通常是有多組的雙 層布。雙層布之合適組數爲5至100,最好是6至35。雙層 中第一層布之第一組線可和鄰接之雙層之第一層布的第〜 組線平行或夾一角度。若夾一角度,則較佳爲夾90Q角。 536617 五、發明說明(5) 雙層布可利用粘著層或縫合而貼合在一起,此種粘著材 料可爲前述之粘著劑,厚度爲4至36微米,較佳爲8至20 微米。 雙層布製法爲文獻上所熟知,通常是在經軸上整經線,然後 在織機上織布。單層布可任意涵浸或層合,並進行軋光或膠 合。至少兩層布可用縫合、加熱或加壓而粘合在一起。 本發明亦有關由前述織物依行家熟知方法所製之防彈背 心及甲胄產品。 茲以下列實例做進一步說明。 由22組雙層構成。每一雙層之第一層之經線爲 Twar〇n®9 30分特(9.5線/厘米)而緯線爲聚酯140分特(赫 斯特公司之Trevira”l〇,2線/厘米)。每一雙層之第二層之 經線爲聚酯140分特Trevira'IO,赫斯特公司,4線/厘米) 而緯線爲Twaro/930分特(9.5線/厘米)。第一層之經/緯 比及第二層之緯/經比爲6.6。諸層係以三層聚乙烯膜(EKB 公司出品之LDPE,厚度10微米)層合,其中有一層聚乙烯膜 夾在兩層布之間,而另兩層膜則包覆著雙層布之外層。將 所得結構放入至榨機中於120°C及25巴之壓力壓25分鐘 。然後停止加熱。此結構之全部重量爲約4600克/米2。 利用9 X 1 9 P a r a型D Μ 1 1 A 1 B 2子彈射擊測定V 5 〇。V 5 〇乃 5 0%子彈攔截而50%子彈完全穿透之速度。結果知本結構 的V5G爲507米/秒。
