Abstract

Description
發明領域 本發明係有關於被配置來加熱可吸菸材料之裝置。

腔室35之一端連接至項圈33並且藉由項圈33支撐,並且腔室35之另一端連接至真空套筒31之一端,由此支撐真空套筒31。因此,如在圖3中最佳發現,項圈33、腔室35及真空管31/加熱器配置23同軸地配置,以使得如在圖2中最佳發現,當可消耗材料21插入裝置1中時,其貫穿項圈33及腔室35進入加熱器腔室29中。

如從圖2最佳瞭解,中空腔室35之第一區段35d之內徑大於可消耗製品2之外徑。因此,當可消耗製品2沿著中空腔室35之長度之至少一部分插入裝置中時,在中空腔室35與可消耗製品21之間存在氣隙36。在此區域中,氣隙36圍繞可消耗製品21之全部圓周。

在另一個實例中,葉片35j與橢圓形夾緊區段35k之組合可用來將可消耗製品21保持在中空腔室35中。舉例而言,橢圓形夾緊區段35k及葉片35j之配置可在中空腔室35中縱向地間隔開並且個別地起作用來將所插入之可消耗製品21保持在適當位置,或葉片35j可圍繞橢圓形夾緊區段35k之表面來配置。
腔室35可由例如塑膠材料,包括例如聚醚酮醚(PEEK)形成。
再次參看圖2至圖4,在一實例中,加熱腔室29具有朝向遠端5之減少內徑之區域38。此區域37為穿過嘴部端3之開口之可消耗製品21提供終點止動裝置。具有減少內徑之此區域38可例如藉由在2015年6月26日申請之共同待決申請案美國臨時專利申請案第62/185,227號中詳細描述之中空管類型來提供,其全部內容以引用方式併入本文。
裝置1可進一步在遠端5包含門39,該門打開及閉合後面板中之開口提供進入加熱腔室29之通路以使得加熱腔室可得以清潔。合適門之實例亦在共同待決申請案62/185,227中更詳細地論述。
現在尤其參看圖7至10,示出裝置1之頂部面板17之實例。頂部面板17總體上形成裝置之殼體9之前端3。頂部面板17支撐項圈33,該項圈界定呈開口20形式之插入點,經由該開口,可消耗製品21在使用中可移除地插入裝置1中。
項圈33圍繞開口20延伸並且從開口20突出至殼體9之內部。在一個實例中,項圈33與殼體之頂部面板17整合,以使得項圈33與頂部面板17形成單一部件。在替代實例中,項圈33係不同於頂部面板17之元件,但是可經由諸如鎖定機構、黏著劑、螺桿之附件來附接至頂部面板17。可使用適合於將項圈33連接至頂部面板17之其他附件。
在此實例中,項圈33包含多個脊60,該等多個脊圍繞開口20之外周沿圓周配置並且突出至開口20中。該等脊60佔據開口20內之空間以使得在脊60之位置處之開口20之開口跨度小於在沒有脊60之位置處之開口20之開口跨度。該等脊60被組配來與插入裝置中之可消耗製品21接合以便幫助將其緊固在裝置1中。
在一個實例中,脊60圍繞開口20之外周沿圓周相等地間隔。在一個實例中,存在四個脊60,在其他實例中可存在多於或少於四個脊60。
圖9示出具有插入開口20中之可消耗製品21的裝置之頂部面板17之平面圖。該等脊60突出至開口20中以便與可消耗製品21接合。藉由相鄰對之脊60所界定之開口空間61及可消耗製品21形成圍繞可消耗製品21之外部的排菸路徑61。如以下更詳細地解釋,此等排菸路徑61允許從可消耗製品21逸出之熱蒸氣離開裝置1並且允許冷卻空氣在可消耗材料21周圍流至裝置1中。圖10中之實例示出圍繞可消耗製品21之外周定位之四個排菸路徑61,該等排菸路徑為裝置1提供排菸,但是可存在更多或更少此等排菸路徑61。
如上所述,該等脊60徑向突出至開口20中,但是如從圖8中最佳瞭解,其亦從頂部面板17延伸至殼體9中。脊60之突起係朝向彼此成角度的,以使得當脊60延伸至殼體中時,脊60之間之距離減少。如在圖3中最佳發現,脊60突出至殼體中以使得能夠藉助於脊60貫穿腔室35之第一開口端35b並且接合腔室35之內壁來使項圈35連接至腔室35。
尤其再次參看圖2,在一個實例中,可消耗製品21呈圓筒形桿形式,該圓筒形桿在可消耗製品21插入裝置1中時處於加熱配置23內之可消耗製品21之區段中之後端處具有或含有可吸菸材料21a。可消耗製品21之前端從裝置1延伸並且充當菸嘴組合件21b,該菸嘴組合件包括用於過濾氣溶膠之過濾器及/或用於冷卻氣溶膠之冷卻元件21c中之一或多者。過濾器/冷卻元件21c藉由空間21d與可吸菸材料21a間隔開並且亦藉由另一個空間21e與菸嘴組合件21b之尖端間隔開。可消耗製品21沿圓周包裹在外部層(未展示)中。在一個實例中,可消耗製品21之外部層係滲透性的以允許來自可吸菸材料之一些加熱經揮發組分從可消耗製品21中逸出。
在操作中,加熱器配置23加熱可消耗製品21以使可吸菸材料21a之至少一種組分揮發。
來自可吸菸材料21a之加熱經揮發組分之主要流動路徑軸向穿過可消耗製品21、穿過空間21d、過濾器/冷卻元件21c及另一個空間21e,然後經由菸嘴組合件21b之開口端進入使用者之口腔。然而,一些經揮發組件可經由其滲透性外部包裝材料從可消耗製品21中逸出並且進入腔室35中的圍繞可消耗製品21之空間36。
不希望從可消耗製品21流至腔室35中之經揮發組分被使用者吸入,因為此等組分未穿過過濾器/冷卻元件21c,因此未過濾並且未冷卻。
有利地,腔室35中的圍繞可消耗製品21之一定體積之空氣及腔室35之經翼片冷卻之內壁導致經由可消耗製品21之外部層從可消耗製品21中逸出之至少一些經揮發組分在腔室35之內壁中冷卻及凝結,從而防止彼等經揮發組分可能藉由使用者吸入。
此冷卻效應可藉由能夠經由排菸路徑61從裝置1外部進入腔室35中的圍繞可消耗製品21之空間36的冷卻空氣來輔助,該等排菸路徑允許流體流動進入及離開裝置。排菸路徑61在多個相鄰脊60中之一對脊之間界定以便在插入點處之可消耗製品21之外部周圍提供排菸。
在一個實例中,在第二對相鄰脊之間提供第二排菸路徑61以便至少一種加熱經揮發組分在第二位置處從可消耗製品21中流出。因此,在插入點處之可消耗製品21之外部周圍藉由第一及第二排菸路徑61來提供排菸。
此外,經由其外部包裝材料從可消耗製品21中逸出之加熱經揮發組分不會在腔室35之內壁上凝結並且能夠經由排菸路徑61從裝置1中安全地流出而不被使用者吸入。
腔室35及排菸均有助於減少在來自可吸菸材料之加熱經揮發組分中釋放之水蒸汽組合物之溫度及含量。

Claims (22)
- 一種被配置來加熱可吸菸材料以使該可吸菸材料之至少一種組分揮發的裝置,該裝置包含: 一殼體; 該殼體在一第一端具有一第一開口,經由該第一開口,含有可吸菸材料之一可消耗製品可移除地插入該裝置中; 配置在該殼體內之至少一個加熱器配置,該加熱器配置用以加熱正在使用的該可消耗製品內之可吸菸材料; 該第一開口與該至少一個加熱器之間之一中空腔室,當該可消耗製品插入該裝置中時,該中空腔室包圍該可消耗製品之至少一部分,其中該腔室之一內壁與該可消耗製品之該至少一部分在其之間界定一氣隙。
- 如請求項1之裝置,其中該中空腔室在其外表面上包含一冷卻結構,以便在該裝置存在使用時增加離開該中空腔室之熱流。
