Abstract
본 발명은 가스 스트림을 천연 및 합성 클리노프틸로라이트 또는 그의 화학적으로 개질된 유도체 상에 통과시켜, 가스 스트림으로부터 이산화탄소를 제거하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 상기 방법은 20℃보다 높은 온도에서 가스 스트림으로부터 ppm 수준의 이산화탄소를 제거하기 위해 사용될때, 특히 유리하다.

Claims (12)
- 불순물로서 이산화탄소를 함유한 가스 스트림을 약 -20 내지 약 80℃ 범위의 온도에서 클리노프틸로라이트(clinoptilolite)를 사용하여 흡착시킴을 포함하는, 상기 가스 스트림에서 이산화탄소를 제거시키는 방법.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 흡착이 온도 가변 흡착, 압력 가변 흡착, 진공 가변 흡착 및 상기의 조합에서 선택된 과정의 일부인 방법.
- 제2항에 있어서, 상기 흡착제가, 그의 교환가능한 양이온이 1A족, 2A족, 3A족, 3B족, 란탄 계열의 이온 및 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택되는 클리노프틸로라이트인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 흡착제가 천연 클리노프틸로라이트, 합성 클리노프틸로라이트, 나트륨-교환된 클리노프틸로라이트, 칼륨-교환된클리노프틸로라이트, 리튬-교환된 클리노프틸로라이트, 칼슘-교환된 클리노프틸로라이트, 마그네슘-교환된 클리노프틸로라이트, 바륨 교환된 클리노프틸로라이트 및 이들의 혼합물로부터 선택된 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 가스 스트림의 아산화탄소 농도가 약 1000ppm 이하인 방법.
- 제1항 또는 제2항에 있어서, 상기 가스 스트림이 산소, 질소, 아르곤 또는 이들의 혼합물인 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 가스 스트림이 공기인 방법.
- 제6항에 있어서, 상기 가스 스트림으로부터 이산화탄소를 제거하기 전에, 상기 가스 스트림을 알루미나, 실리카 겔 및 이들의 혼합물에서 선택된 흡착제에 통과시켜 상기 가스 스트림으로부터 수증기를 제거함을 또한 포함하는 방법.
- (a) 클리노프틸로라이트를 흡착제로 사용하여 공기로부터 이산화탄소를 흡착하는 온도 가변 흡착 과정으로 공기를 예비정제하는 단계 및 (b) 예비정제한 공기를 극저온 증류하여, 고순도의 질소, 고순도의 산소 또는 둘 모두를 생산하는 단계를 포함하는 공기 분리 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 흡착제가 상기 공기로부터 수증기를 또한 흡착하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, (a) 단계전에, 공기를 알루미나, 실리카 겔 및 이들의 혼합물에서 선택한 흡착제에 통과시켜 공기로부터 수증기를 제거하는 단계를 또한 포함하는 방법.
- 제9항에 있어서, 상기 흡착제가 천연 클리노프틸로라이트, 리튬-교환된 클리노프틸로라이트, 칼슘-교환된 클리노프틸로라이트 및 이들의 혼합물에서 선택되는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
