Claims (9)
- 차량의 차실 내에서 팽창 전개하고, 제1 좌석에 착석하는 승차인을 측방으로부터 구속하는 에어백 장치로서,
팽창 전개한 상태에서 상기 차량의 수평 방향으로 전개하는 수평부와, 상기 수평부의 중앙부분으로부터 상기 차량의 상방향으로 전개하는 돌출부를 구비하는 쿠션과,
상기 쿠션의 내부에 고정되어 있고, 상기 차량의 수평 방향으로 개구하고, 상기 차량의 하방향은 폐쇄하고, 상기 돌출부를 향하는 방향의 일부 또는 전부가 폐쇄된 디퓨저와,
제1 좌석에 고정되어, 상기 디퓨저의 내부에 배치된 팽창 전개용의 가스를 분사하는 인플레이터를 구비하고,
상기 디퓨저는 상기 쿠션을 먼저 수평 방향을 향해 전개시켜 승차인을 구속하여 보호하도록, 상기 인플레이터에서 발생한 가스를 상기 인플레이터를 중심으로 서로 반대 방향을 향해 수평 방향으로 공급하는 에어백 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 디퓨저는 상기 차량의 수평 방향 중 적어도 일부에서 개구하는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 디퓨저는 상기 차량의 수평 방향의 양단부에서는 상하 방향의 전 길이에 걸쳐 개구하고, 상기 차량의 상방향 및 하방향에서는 각각 전 길이에 걸쳐 폐쇄한 튜브 형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 디퓨저는 상기 차량의 수평 방향으로 상기 인플레이터로부터 분사된 가스가 분출 가능한 개구를 가지는 주머니 형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치. - 제4항에 있어서,
상기 디퓨저는 상기 차량의 수평 방향의 일방의 단부에서는 상하 방향의 전 길이에 걸치거나 또는 일부에서 개구하고, 수평 방향의 타방의 단부에서는 상하 방향의 전 길이에 걸쳐 폐쇄하고, 상기 차량의 상방향 및 하방향에서는 각각 전 길이에 걸쳐 폐쇄한 주머니 형상인 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치. - 제1항에 있어서,
상기 디퓨저는 상기 차량의 상방항 및 수평 방향의 양단부의 세 군데에서 개구하는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치. - 제1항 내지 제6항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서,
상기 쿠션이 전개한 상태에서, 상기 디퓨저는 상기 수평 방향의 일방의 단부가 제1 좌석에 배치되고, 상기 수평 방향의 타방의 단부가 제1 좌석과 서로 이웃하는 제2 좌석에 도달 가능하도록 한 수평 방향 길이를 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 제1 좌석은 운전석이고, 상기 제2 좌석은 조수석인 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치. - 제7항에 있어서,
상기 쿠션은 상기 인플레이터를 상기 차실 내의 구조체에 고정하는 스터드 볼트가 삽입 통과되는 삽통 구멍을 가지는 것을 특징으로 하는 에어백 장치.
