Claims (15)
- 에폭시화 반응기 내에 위치한 에폭시화 촉매를 함유하는 에폭시화 구역;
알킬렌 옥사이드 흡수기 내에 위치한 브로마이드-함유 카르복시화 촉매를 함유하는 카르복시화 구역; 및
재순환 기체를 함유하는 공급물 내의 브로마이드 함유 불순물의 양을 감소시킬 수 있는 정제 흡수제를 함유하고 에폭시화 구역의 상류에 위치하는 하나 이상의 정제 구역으로서, 상기 정제 흡수제는 은, 알칼리 금속 또는 알칼리 토금속, 및 지지체 물질을 함유하는, 정제 구역
을 포함하는, 알킬렌 카보네이트를 생산하기 위한 반응 시스템. - 제1항에 있어서, 에폭시화 반응기가 반응기의 중심 종축에 거의 나란히 위치한 복수의 반응기 튜브를 포함하는 동체-튜브(shell-and-tube) 열교환기이고; 상부 말단은 거의 수평인 상부 튜브 플레이트에 연결되고 하부 말단은 거의 수평인 하부 튜브 플레이트에 연결되며; 에폭시화 촉매는 반응기 튜브 내에 위치한 충진 베드 형태인 반응 시스템.
- 제2항에 있어서, 정제 구역이 에폭시화 반응기 튜브 내에 위치한 반응 시스템.
- 제2항 또는 제3항에 있어서, 정제 구역이 에폭시화 반응기 튜브로부터 상류에서 에폭시화 반응기 내에 위치하는 반응 시스템.
- 제1항 내지 제3항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 하나 이상의 정제 구역이 분리된 에폭시화 반응기를 포함하는 에폭시화 구역으로부터 상류에 위치한 하나 이상의 분리된 정제 용기를 포함하는 반응 시스템.
- 알켄, 산소 및 에폭시화 재순환 기체를 함유하는 에폭시화 공급물을 에폭시화 반응기에서 에폭시화 촉매와 접촉시켜 알킬렌 옥사이드를 함유하는 에폭시화 반응 산물을 생산하는 단계;
상기 에폭시화 반응 산물을 알킬렌 옥사이드 흡수기 내에서 브로마이드-함유 카르복시화 촉매의 존재 하에 린 앱소번트(lean absorbent)와 접촉시켜 에폭시화 재순환 기체 및 알킬렌 카보네이트 함유 팻 앱소번트(fat absorbent)를 생산하는 단계; 및
에폭시화 재순환 기체의 적어도 일부를 에폭시화 촉매와 접촉시키기 전에 브로마이드-함유 불순물의 양을 감소시킬 수 있는 정제 흡수제와 접촉시키는 단계로서, 상기 정제 흡수제는 은, 알칼리 금속 또는 알칼리 토금속, 및 지지체 물질을 함유하거나, 원자번호 22 내지 44 또는 82의 금속 중에서 선택되는 하나 이상의 금속 및 지지체 물질을 함유하는 단계;
를 포함하는, 알킬렌 카보네이트의 생산 방법. - 제6항에 있어서, 재순환 기체가 25 내지 325 ℃ 범위의 온도에서 정제 흡수제와 접촉되는 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 에폭시화 반응기가 반응기 튜브 내에 위치한 에폭시화 촉매와 정제 흡수제를 보유하는 다중튜브형 동체-튜브 열교환기인 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 에폭시화 반응기가 정제 흡수제가 반응기 튜브의 상류에 에폭시화 반응기 내에 위치해 있는 다중튜브형 동체-튜브 열교환기인 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 정제 흡수제가 에폭시화 반응기의 상류에 위치한 하나 이상의 분리된 정제 용기 내에 위치해 있는 방법.
- 제6항 또는 제7항에 있어서, 정제 흡수제가 원자번호 22 내지 44 또는 82의 금속 중에서 선택되는 하나 이상의 금속을 포함하는 방법.

- 알켄, 산소 및 에폭시화 재순환 기체를 함유하는 에폭시화 공급물을 에폭시화 반응기에서 에폭시화 촉매와 접촉시켜 알킬렌 옥사이드를 함유하는 에폭시화 반응 산물을 생산하는 단계;
에폭시화 반응 산물을 알킬렌 옥사이드 흡수기 내에서 브로마이드-함유 카르복시화 촉매의 존재 하에 린 앱소번트와 접촉시켜 에폭시화 재순환 기체 및 알킬렌 카보네이트 함유 팻 앱소번트를 생산하는 단계;
팻 앱소번트를 하나 이상의 가수분해 촉매의 존재 하에 물과 접촉시켜 알킬렌 글리콜을 함유하는 가수분해 산물 스트림을 생산하는 단계;
경우에 따라, 탈수기 내에서 상기 가수분해 산물 스트림으로부터 물을 제거하여 탈수된 산물 스트림을 생산하는 단계;
경우에 따라, 상기 탈수된 산물 스트림을 정제하여 정제된 알킬렌 글리콜 산물 스트림을 생산하는 단계; 및
에폭시화 재순환 기체의 적어도 일부를 에폭시화 촉매와 접촉시키기 전에 브로마이드-함유 불순물의 양을 감소시킬 수 있는 정제 흡수제와 접촉시키는 단계로서, 상기 정제 흡수제는 은, 알칼리 금속 또는 알칼리 토금속, 및 지지체 물질을 함유하는 단계
