Claims (9)
- 엔진에서 발생된 배기 가스를 외부로 배출하는 배기 파이프 상에 장착되어 있는 디젤 산화 촉매에 있어서,설정된 조건의 만족 여부에 따라 탄화 수소를 흡착 또는 탈착하는 탄화 수소 트랩(HC trap)이 코팅된 제1부분; 그리고배기 가스 내에 탄화 수소(HC)와 일산화 탄소(CO)를 산화하는 산화 촉매가 코팅된 제2부분;을 포함하되,상기 제2부분은 상기 제1부분에서 탈착된 HC와 산화반응을 하고, 상기 산화반응에서 발생되는 산화열을 이용하여 상기 산화 촉매에 흡착된 황을 탈착시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 산화 촉매.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제1부분은 담체 위에 코팅되어 있으며, 상기 제2부분은 상기 제1부분 위에 코팅되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 산화 촉매.
- 제 1항에 있어서,상기 제1부분은 상기 디젤 산화 촉매의 전단부의 담체 위에 코팅되어 있고, 상기 제2부분은 상기 디젤 산화 촉매의 후단부의 담체 위에 코팅되어 있는 것을 특 징으로 하는 디젤 산화 촉매.
- 제 2항 또는 제 3항에 있어서,상기 설정된 조건은 배기 가스의 온도가 설정된 온도보다 큰 경우 만족되는 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 산화 촉매.
- 제 2항 또는 제 3항에 있어서,상기 탄화 수소 트랩은 베타 제올라이트(beta zeolite)인 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 산화 촉매.
- 제 5항에 있어서,상기 베타 제올라이트는 12링 구조로 산화 알루미늄(Al2O3)에 대한 실리카(SiO2)의 비율이 24~38인 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 산화 촉매.
- 제 2항 또는 제 3항에 있어서,상기 탄화 수소 트랩은 상기 제1부분의 전체 워쉬코트(washcoat) 량의 30~50%인 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 산화 촉매.
- 제 2항 또는 제3항에 있어서,상기 산화 촉매는 백금(Pt)과 팔라듐(Pd)을 포함하는 귀금속인 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 산화 촉매.
- 엔진에서 발생된 배기 가스가 지나가는 배기 파이프 상에 설치되어 있으며, 배기 가스 내에 포함된 유해 물질을 정화하는 배기 장치에 있어서,상기 배기 장치는 HC와 CO를 산화하는 디젤 산화 촉매를 포함하며,상기 디젤 산화 촉매는 제1항에 따른 디젤 산화 촉매인 것을 특징으로 하는 디젤 산화 촉매를 구비한 배기 장치.
