Claims (2)
- 한 화면의 프레임을 n개의 서브프레임으로 분할하고, 각각의 서브프레임에는 사전에 유지펄스의 수가 설정되고, 상기 서브프레임들을 조합하여 계조를 표시하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 구동방법에 있어서,N개의 표시라인들중 서브프레임의 수와 동일한 n개의 표시라인을 선택하고, 선택된 표시라인들에 각각의 서브프레임을 할당하여 표시하되, 상기 선택되는 표시라인들의 위치는 먼저 N개의 표시라인들중 어느 하나의 표시라인을 선택하여 n개의 서브프레임중 어느 하나를 할당하고, 이 할당된 서브프레임에 설정된 유지펄스 수 만큼 위에 또는 아래에 위치한 다른 표시라인을 선택하여 나머지 서브프레임들중 어느 하나를 할당하는 방식으로, N x n!개의 조합중 어느 하나의 표시라인들 조합을 선택하여 할당된 서브프레임을 표시하고; 상기 처음에 선택된 표시라인들을 시발점으로 하여, 시간적으로 1유지펄스 주기 단위로 1표시라인씩 위 또는 아래로 이동하면서 표시라인들을 선택하여 할당된 각 서브프레임을 표시하되, 모든 표시라인들이 각 서브프레임을 모두 표시할때까지 반복하여 제1프레임을 표시하는 과정과;이미 선택되어 각 서브프레임 표시를 모두 완료한 표시라인들에 대해 마지막 선택 표시라인들중 최상위비트가 할당된 표시라인의 표시종료시까지 휴지기간을 제공하는 과정; 및상기 휴지기간이 끝나고 다음 프레임을 표시할때에, 이전 제1프레임의 처음 선택한 표시라인들 조합을 제외한, [N x n!]-1 개의 조합중 어느 하나의 표시라인들 조합을 선택하여 할당된 서브프레임을 표시하고; 상기 선택된 표시라인들을 시발점으로 하여, 시간적으로 1유지펄스 주기 단위로, 1표시라인씩 위 또는 아래로 이동하면서, 표시라인들을 선택하여 할당된 각 서브프레임을 표시하되, 모든 표시라인들이 각 서브프레임을 모두 표시할때까지 반복하여 제2프레임을 표시하는 방식에 의해, 연속하는 프레임들 사이에 서브프레임 표시순서를 변화시켜 표시하는 과정을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 구동방법.
- 제 1항에 있어서, 상기 연속하는 프레임들의 수를 N x n!범위내에서 선택하는 것을 특징으로 하는 플라즈마 표시패널의 구동방법.
