Claims (4)
- エンジンの排気ポートに排気管を接続し、該排気管内に触媒を配設するとともに二次空気を導入するようにした4サイクルエンジンにおいて、上記排気管内に第1触媒を配置し、該第1触媒より下流側の排気管内に第2触媒を上記第1触媒との間に所定の間隔をあけて配置し、上記二次空気を導入する二次空気導入管を、上記排気管の上記第1,第2触媒の間の部分に、かつ該第1,第2触媒のエンジン冷機始動から所定の運転時間が経過するまでの計測運転域における温度差が所定範囲内となる位置に接続したことを特徴とする4サイクルエンジン。
- エンジンの排気ポートに排気管を接続し、該記排気管内に触媒を配設するとともに二次空気を導入するようにした4サイクルエンジンにおいて、上記排気管内に第1触媒を配置し、該第1触媒より下流側の排気管内に第2触媒を上記第1触媒との間に所定の間隔をあけて配置し、上記二次空気を導入する二次空気導入管を、上記排気管の上記第1,第2触媒の間の部分に、かつ導入された二次空気が排気脈動により上流側の第1触媒にも作用する位置に接続したことを特徴とする4サイクルエンジン。
- 請求項1又は2において、上記排気管の一部を囲む消音器を設け、上記第1触媒は上記消音器より上流側に配設され、上記第2触媒は上記消音器の内部に配設されていることを特徴とする4サイクルエンジン。
- 請求項1又は2において、上記排気管の一部を囲む消音器を設け、上記第1触媒は上記消音器より上流側に配設され、上記第2触媒は上記消音器の内部に配設されており、上記二次空気導入管は、排気管の上記第2触媒より上流側でかつ上記消音器の内部に位置する部分に接続されていることを特徴とする4サイクルエンジン。
