Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、潤滑油組成物、さらに詳しくは、耐のである
従来、内燃機関用のホウ素含有清浄分散剤としテハ、例
えば、アルキレンアミンとホウ素化合物との反応生成物
にアルキル置換コノ・り酸無水物を反応させた生成物(
特公昭42−80.13号公報)、炭化水素置換コノ・
り酸無水物とホウ素化合物との反応生成物にアルキレン
アミンを反応させた生成物(特公昭42−8014号公
報)、アルケニルコハク酸無水物にヒドロキシル化第1
級アミンとホウ素化合物を反応させた生成物(特開昭5
1−52381号公報)、芳香族多価カルボン酸とアル
ケニルコハク酸とポリアルキレンポリアミンとを特定の
モル比で反応させた生成物にホウ素化合物を反応させて
得られる生成物(特開昭51−130408号公報)、
アミノアルコールとホウ酸とオキシエタンカルボン酸と
の縮合生成物(特開昭54−87705号公報)、ポリ
アルケニルコハク酸無水物に、ポリアルキレングライコ
ール、第2級アルカノールアミン及びホウ素化合物を順
次反応させて得られる生成物などが種々知られている。
これらのホウ素含有清浄分散剤は、自動車用エンジンオ
イル等内燃機関用の潤滑油に添加することにより、潤滑
油中の不溶性混入物を分散させ、内燃機関内でのスラッ
ジの発生を防止させると共に、さらに潤滑油が接触する
金属部分の腐食防止などの効果を示すととが知られてい
る。
ところで、このようなホウ素含有清浄分散剤を例えば自
動車の乗り心地を良くするため振動を吸収スる緩衝器(
ショックアブソーバ−)やバンパーの衝撃吸収装置、航
空機の離着陸時の衝撃吸収油圧緩衝器、ドアーチェッカ
ーなどに用いる作動油、いわゆる緩衝器用流体に応用し
た思想は今まだ見当らない。
これら緩衝器用流体、特に自動車用緩衝器用流体に要求
され、る特性は主に次の点である。
(1)耐摩耗性が良いこと(耐久性) (11)摩擦係数が低いこと(乗心地)Oti)  シ
ールを侵さないこと(液もれによる機能低下防止) 耐摩耗、低摩擦については従来、極圧剤や油性剤がその
効果を持つものとして広く利用されたが、緩衝器用とし
ては、ロッドとガイド、ロッドとシール、ピストンとシ
リンダー等多岐にわたる摩擦の組合せがある上に、シー
ルへの悪影響があるものが多く、また広範囲の使用温度
に耐えねばならないため、充分満足できるものを得るこ
とが困難であった。そこで我々は実際の条件に近い状態
で緩衝器用流体の性能評価を重ねた結果、驚くべきよっ
てこれらの目的を満足させることができた。
即ち、本発明によれば、潤滑油基油にホウ素含有清浄分
散剤とリン酸エステルを適量含有させたことを特徴とす
る緩衝器用流体組成物が提供される。
本発明における潤滑油基油としては、従来慣用されてい
る種々の石油系あるいは合成系潤滑油が用いられ、好ま
しくは40℃における粘度5〜50cst及びアニリン
点60〜100のものが適用される。
また、本発明におけるホウ素含有清浄分散剤としては、
従来公知のものが適用され、脂肪酸とアミン化合物との
反応によって得られるアミド化合物に、ホウ素化合物(
ホウ酸、ホウ酸塩、ホウ酸エステルなど)を反応させて
得られた生成物、炭化水素置換コハク酸イミドとホウ素
化合物との反応生成物及びその誘導体などが包含され、
より具体的には、例えば、前記したような特公昭42−
8013号公報、特公昭42’−8014号公報、特開
昭51−52381号公報、特開昭51−130408
号公報、特開昭54−8’7705号公報、特開昭55
−157688号公報に記載のもの及び米国特許第25
68472号明細書などに記載されたものなどが挙げら
れる。
の範囲にするのがよい。
本発明においては、前記したようなホウ素含有清浄分散
剤とともに高められた耐摩耗性と低摩擦性を得るために
、さらにリン酸エタテルを添加する。このようなリン酸
エステルとしては、一般式4式%) () (前記式中、Rq + R2はC4〜C’20の飽和又
は不飽和アルキル基、アリール基又はアルキル置換アリ
ール基で、R1+R2は同一でも異なってもよい)で表
わされるものが好ましく適用される。また、これらリン
酸エステルとアミン化合物との反応生成物も使用できる
。このようなリン酸エステル、の具体例としては、一般
式(1) + (II)に該当するものに関し5、ブチ
ルアシッドフォスフェート、2−エチルヘキシルアシッ
ドフォスフェート、ラウリルアシッドフォスフェート、
オレイルアシッドフォスフェートなどが挙げられる。一
般式(III)に該当するものに関し、ジブチルハイド
ロゲンフオスファイト、ジラウリルハイドロゲンフオス
ファイト、ジステアリルノ・イドロゲンフオスファイト
、ジオレイルハイドロゲンフオスノアイト、ジフェニル
ノ・添加される。
本発明の組成物に対しては、その目的を阻害しない限り
、慣用の補助成分を添加することができ、本発明の場合
、殊に油性剤、例えは、油脂、脂肪酸、脂肪酸とアルコ
ールとのモノエステル、脂肪酸とソルビタンやグリセリ
ン等多価アルコールとのエステルあるいは多価カルボン
酸とアルコールとのエステルなどを添加するのがよく、
その添加量は通常0.0−5〜10重量%の範囲である
。また、従来用いてきた7耐摩耗剤としてのジアルキル
ジチオリン酸塩、ジアルキルジチオカルバミン酸塩、リ
ン硫化テルペン、トリアルキルフォスフェート、トリア
リールフォスフェート、トリアルキルンオスファイト、
トリアリールフォスファイトを添加することも良い。さ
らに、必要に応じ、粘度指数向上剤、酸化防止剤なども
添加することができる。
次に本発明を実施例によりさらに詳細に説明する。
実施例 自動車用緩衝器(ショックアブソーバ−)ヲ用いて、種
々の流体組成物の性能評価を行った。摩擦力測定のため
には、第1図に示す構造の緩衝器(ガス封入式)を用い
た。第1図において、1はシリンダー、2はピストン、
3はガイド、4il−1:ロッドであり、5はアイ、6
はフリーピストンである。このシリンダー内の空間Aに
は緩衝器用流体が充填され、空間Bには窒撫ガスが充填
されている。摩擦力測定には、ロッド4を高速で上下さ
せ、ロッド4の上下に必要な力を摩擦力とした。この場
合の緩衝器作動条件は次の通シである。
ストローク   ±5謳 回転数     0.011■z 横荷重     0−20 Kg/cm2ガス封入圧 
  15 Kg/cm2 なお、前記した横荷重は、第1図において矢印で示すよ
うにストロークの方向に対して垂直な方向にシリンダー
に加える荷重である。
次に、耐摩耗性を測定するために、第2図に示す構造の
ショックアブソーバ−(ストラット型)を用いた。この
図において、10はシリンダー、11はピストン、12
はガイド、13はロッド、14はアイである。シリンダ
ー内空間Cには緩衝シリンタートピストン、ロッドとシ
ール及びガイドとの間の潤滑に適用された。この場合の
緩挿I器の作動条件は次の通りである。
ストローク   ±25゜ ストローク速度 180回/分 ロッドの外観を観察し、そのくもり、傷の発生を観察す
ることにより行った。その結果を次表に承前成分は次の
通りである。
潤滑油基油 石油系潤滑油(40℃における粘度15cst)清浄分
散剤 A:イソステアリン酸とテトラエチレンペンタミンとの
反応生成物にホウ酸を反応させた生成物 B:アルケニルコノ・り酸イミドとホウ酸との反応生成
物 リン酸エステル A:ジラウリルハイドロゲンホスファイト((Cl2H
350)2 P  OH)Bニオレイルアシッドフォス
フェート H OH 油性剤  ステアリン酸 粘度指数向上剤  ポリメタアクリレート酸化防止剤 
  2ジロージーtert−ブチル−P−クレゾールま
た、耐摩耗性(ロッドの傷付耐久性)の評価を示す各符
号は次のことを意味する。
○・・・・・変化表しくクリア) ■・・・・・くもり発生 △・・・・・キズ発生 なお、摩擦力測定結果の中で×を付したものはビビリ現
象が生じたことを表わす。ビビリ現象とは、シリンダー
とピストン、ロッドとガイドの間で振動や異音を生ずる
現象である。
以下余白 前記衣に示した結果から、従来の振子試験法では、本発
明品と比較品とはその性能に関し格別の差異がないよう
に見られるが、実際の使用条件に近似した条件では、本
発明と比較品とは明確な性能上や差異を与え、本発明品
の方が優れていることは明らかである。殊に、リン酸エ
ステルを含まない比較品A3の場合は、横荷重が大きく
なるにつれて、摩擦力が犬きくなシ、かつビビリを発生
することがわかる。
