Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance and sealing property of a rotor and reduce its cost, by providing an annular recess on the peripheral sliding contact part of the rotor except on both its ends and melting and spraying a wear-resistant material such as ceramic to provide a coating layer in the recess. CONSTITUTION:When the sliding contact portion 14 of a main material 18 which is to be the body of a rotor 13 is shotblasted, a recess 15 is provided on the sliding contact portion 14 except on both its ends 14a, 14a.
