Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily form printed patterns, raise the productivity of printing, and simplify the structure of manufacturing machinery by a method in which a transferring adhesive layer is formed on a picture constituting portion formed through a protective layer on the surface of a releasing sheet, and notched grooves are also formed.
CONSTITUTION: A transfer mark A is formed by a procedure in which a protective film 2 of a transparent resin, etc., is formed on the surface of a releasing sheet 1, printed layers 3 and 3' forming picture constituting portion 3a for patterns, letters, etc., to be transferred are formed on the protective film 2, and then a transferring adhesive layer 4 is formed on the printed layers 3 and 3'. Also, notched grooves 5 are formed in the periphery of the picture constituting portion 3a to an extent that the notched grooves can reach the surface of the releasing sheet 1 but does not damage the surface by turning them from the transferring adhesive layer 4 side toward the releasing sheet 1, whereby permitting the portion to be transferred to an object to be tranferred to be distinguished from the other portions. The releasing sheet 1 used includes soft and tough papers having high heat resistance and synthetic resin film and sheet of polyester, polyethylene, etc.
