Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for any special positioning work and to manufacture platelike lenses with good efficiency by forming the light shielding layers for the platelike lens disposed with plural lens bodies on the same plane with opaque ink by printing or transferring.
CONSTITUTION: In the manufacture of platelike lenses used for slit exposure device of copying machines or the like, multiple lens units 21 are formed in one body to a platelike transparent plate 22, after which light shielding layers 23 are printed by using opaque ink or just prior to pressing of the plate 22, opaque ink is applied on porous parts, thereafter, the plate is pressed whereby the layers 23 are transferred to the product. The special positioning such as the one in the conventional method of forming the layers 23 by bonding light shielding plates afterward is eliminated, and the platelike lenses are manufactured efficiently without floating of the shielding plates or the like.
