Abstract
PURPOSE:To simultaneously evacuate plural pycnometers each containing ceramic powder and a medium solutiom by placing the phcnometers in a vacuum deaerator, and then evacuating them while causing 0.5-500cycles/sec vibration by a vibrator. CONSTITUTION:In a glass-made bell jar 1 for evacuation, a phcnometer 2 containing sampel powder and a medium solution is placed. A frosted glass plate 3 is in contact with the bell jar on a vacuous condition. As a high vacuum is produced gradually in the bell jar 1, air in recessed part and penetration parts of the sample powder separates from the powder, passes through the medium solution in the form of an air bubble, and blows up on the liquid surface, so that it is sucked into the bell jar. A vibrator 4 applies regular or irregular 0.5-500cycles/ sec vibration vertically and horizontall to suck almost all of even air bubbles sticking to the deep part of the sample.
