Abstract
PURPOSE:To make easy the operation and to enable pickup of good quality, by converting the optical signal of two transmission line systems into one transmission system through an optical shutter and an optical waveguide and picking up the signal with one camera. CONSTITUTION:Rays of left and right pictures L, R obtained from a pair of optical lens systems 11L, 11R located at an interval almost equal to the interval of left and right human eyes are converted into the optical signal of two-transmission line system alternately in timing at an optical shutter 5. Further, an optical waveguide 12 providing reflecting mirrors 13L, 13R reflecting and transmitting the optical signal on the same optical axis and a half mirror 14, and a pickup device 15 converting the output light into an electric signal are provided. Further, a synchronizing signal generator 17 generating synchronizing signal which identifies the left and right pictures L, R, a power supply circuit 16 controlling the drive of drive motors 9L, 9R of an optical shutter 5 and a mixer 18 adding the output of a pickup device 15 to the said synchronizing signal to form a video signal, are provided.
