Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain video signals without dispersion left and right and to make small the size and low the cost of the device, by switching the optical axis left and right through the use of a rotating mirror and making image pickup with one set of video camera. CONSTITUTION:A light from an objective 24 from an optical path 25 is reflected at a reflection mirror 19b and also reflected at a rotating mirror 18 and enters a pick-up lens 13 and the image is formed to an image sensor in a video camera 12. A stepping motor 14 is turned by 90 deg. within the signal blanking period and stops at a position 18a. In this case, the objective light from the optical path 27 is reflected at a reflection mirror 19a and the rotating mirror 18a and enters the lens 13 and the image is formed on the camera 12. A motor 14 rotates in the vertical blanking period and the mirror 18 restores to the home position. The signal obtained through the repetitive operation is applied to a TV receiver, and when a reproduced screen is viewed through a shutter means which shows a picture in order through alternate left and right eye in synchronizing with the picture period of left and right signals, a three-dimensional picture can be observed through parallax of left and right eyes.
