Abstract
PURPOSE: To form a dichromic electrophotographic image by a single charging by forming the 1st color toner image on the 1st exposed part of a photoreceptor and then forming the 2nd color toner image on the 2nd exposed part and the 1st image.
CONSTITUTION: The surface of a photoreceptor is uniformly charged to uniformly distribute surface charges. The position of arrow 3 is exposed to a light source carrying the 1st information, and the 1st toner image 5 is formed with a developer consisting of the 1st color toner and carrier. The position of arrow 4 is then exposed to a light source carrying the 2nd information, and the 2nd color toner image 6 is developed on the exposed part and the 1st toner image. Thus, the toner of both the 1st and 2nd colors is stuck to the 1st exposed part, and the 2nd color toner image is formed on the 2nd exposed part.
