Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the electric power cost of a heater and to increase the ozonization efficiency of an ozonizer by heat regenerating an adsorption chamber, after dehumidification, by making use of heat of compression delivered from a feed air source in an apparatus provided with two adsorption chambers where adsorption and desorption are carried out alternately.
CONSTITUTION: Hot air delivered from feed air source 1 is fed to cooler 52a through heater 43 turned off, change-over valves 44, 46b and chack valve 48a. The air cooled is dried in dehumidification cylinder 6a, passed through change-over valve 59, and supplied into dehumidification cylinder 6b after heat regeneration. In cylinder 6b the dry air cools adsorbent 7b and becomes hot air, which is then cooled to a temp. effective for ozonization with cooler 52b, passed through change-over valves 51, 62, reduced in press. with reducing valve 64, and fed to ozonizer 9. When cylinder 6a is satd., change-over valves 44, 46a, 51, 59, 62a are changed over, heater 43 is turned on, and cylinders 6a and 6b are set to a heating process and a dehumidification process, respectively.
