- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ポリラクチドポリマー組成物を製造する方法であって、以下の工程を含む 方法: (a)組成物中のポリラクチド骨格鎖間の分子相互作用の増加および少なくとも 2.5の多分散インデックスを与えるように、線状の無置換ポリラクチドに対し て修飾を加えたポリラクチドポリマー分子を、ポリラクチドポリマー組成物中に 供する。 2.分子相互作用の増加が、線状の無置換ポリラクチドに対して、重量平均分 子量の増加、分岐の増加および架橋の増加の少なくとも1つを有するポリマー組 成物を供することによって達成される請求項1に記載の方法。 3.(a)約50,000〜約300,000の数平均分子量を有するポリラクチ ドポリマー鎖の混合物; を有するポリマーを製造することからなる請求項2に記載の方法。 4.(a)約100,000〜約1,200,000の重量平均分子量を有するポ リラクチドポリマー鎖の混合物; を有するポリマーを製造することからなる請求項2に記載の方法。 5.(a)フリーラジカル反応によりポリラクチド分子間に架橋を生成させる; ことを含む請求項2に記載の方法。 6.ポリラクチド分子間に架橋を生成させる工程が、0.01:1〜10:1 の範囲内の開始剤とポリマーの比を供することからなる請求項5に記載の方法。 7.修飾されたポリラクチドポリマー分子を供する工程が、 (a)ゲル透過クロマトグラフィーで測定して、同等の見掛重量平均分子量の線 状の非官能化ポリラクチドの測定した自然対数の固有粘度(dl/g)より少なくと も0.1低い測定した自然対数の固有粘度(dl/g)を有するポリマー組成物を供す る; ことからなる請求項1に記載の方法。 8.修飾されたポリラクチドポリマー分子を供する工程が、 (a)同等の重量平均分子量の線状の非官能化ポリラクチドに比べて、加工時の ネックインが、ポリマー組成物のネックイン比が約0.8未満であるように減少 しているポリマー組成物が得られるように、十分な分子相互作用を供する; ことからなる請求項1に記載の方法。 9.修飾されたポリラクチドポリマー分子を供する工程が、 (a)無置換の乳酸またはラクチドに加えて反応物質を含有する操作においてポ リラクチド分子を形成させる工程であって、以下の種類の反応物質: (i)非開始性ラクチド反応物質、 (ii)開始性反応物質、または (iii)組合せ反応物質、 の少なくとも1種を供することからなる工程; を含む請求項1に記載の方法。 10.無置換の乳酸またはラクチドに加える反応物質が、実質的にヒドロキシ基 、アミン基およびこれらの混合物からなる群からそれぞれが選ばれる2以上の開 始性の基をその中に有する反応物質である請求項9に記載の方法。 11.無置換の乳酸またはラクチドに加える反応物質が、エポキシド基、環状エ ステル基およびこれらの組合せからそれぞれが選択される少なくとも2つの非開 始性の基を含む非開始性ラクチド反応物質からなる請求項9に記載の方法。 12.無置換の乳酸またはラクチド以外の反応物質が、少なくとも1つの炭素− 炭素二重結合を含む非開始性ラクチド反応物質からなる請求項9に記載の方法。 13.無置換の乳酸またはラクチド以外の反応物質が、その中に大きな有機ポリ マー絡み合い基を含んでいる請求項9に記載の方法。 14.(a)少なくとも2.5の多分散性を有するポリラクチドポリマー; を含有する組成物。 15.ポリラクチドポリマーが、少なくとも50,000の数平均分子量、およ び少なくとも約100,000であって約1,200,000を越えない重量平均 分子量を有する請求項14に記載の組成物。 16.約0.8未満のネックイン比を有する請求項14に記載の組成物。 17.溶媒から再結晶されていないラクチド混合物から、少なくとも50,00 0の数平均分子量を有するポリラクチドポリマー組成物を製造する方法であって 、以下の工程を含む方法: (a)組成物中のポリラクチド骨格鎖間の分子相互作用の増加を与えるように、 線状の無置換ポリラクチドに対して修飾を加えたポリラクチドポリマー分子を、 ポリラクチドポリマー組成物中に供する。 18.(a)無置換の乳酸またはラクチドに加えて、エポキシド基、イソシアネー ト基、環状エステル基およびこれらの組合せからそれぞれが選択される少なくと も2つの非開始性の基を含む非開始性ラクチド反応物質からなる反応物質を含有 する操作において、組成物中にポリラクチド分子を形成させる; ことを含む請求項17に記載の方法。 19.改善されたポリラクチドポリマー組成物を製造する方法であって、以下の 工程を含む方法: (a)無置換の乳酸またはラクチドに加えて、エポキシド基からそれぞれが選択 される少なくとも2つの非開始性の基を含む非開始性ラクチド反応物質からなる 反応物質を含有する操作において、組成物中にポリラクチド分子を形成させる。 20.(a)ラクチド、ポリラクチド、またはこれらの混合物からなるラクチド原 料;および (b)1分子あたりに2またはそれ以上のエポキシ基を含有するエポキシ化原料 からなる約0.1〜10重量%の共重合試薬; を含有する混合物の反応生成物からなるポリマー組成物。 21.共重合試薬がエポキシ化亜麻仁油からなる請求項20に記載のポリマー組成 物。 22.少なくとも4.0の多分散インデックスを有する請求項21に記載のポリマ ー組成物。 23.少なくとも296,000の重量平均分子量を有する請求項21に記載のポ リマー組成物。 24.少なくとも2.9の多分散インデックスを有する請求項20に記載のポリマ ー組成物。 25.約100,000〜約1,200,000の重量平均分子量を有する請求項2 4に記載のポリマー組成物。 26.共重合試薬がエポキシ化大豆油からなる請求項20に記載のポリマー組成物 。 27.約100,000〜約1,200,000の重量平均分子量を有する請求項2 0に記載のポリマー組成物。 28.反応物質が、 (iii)ラクチドの重合を触媒してポリ(ラクチド)ポリマー鎖を形成させるため の、重合中に生分解性ポリマー中に導入される触媒手段; をさらに含有する請求項20に記載のポリマー。 29.請求項20に記載のポリマーからなるフィルム。 30.請求項29に記載のフィルムからなるおむつ。 31.請求項20に記載のポリマーからなるシート。 32.請求項20に記載のポリマーからなる被覆紙。 33.請求項20に記載のポリマーからなるブロー成形物品。 34.請求項20に記載のポリマーからなる熱成形物品。 35.請求項20に記載のポリマーからなる射出成形物品。 36.請求項20に記載のポリマーからなる不織布。
