Description
以下の実施例1〜2及び比較例の架橋ゴム組成物を調製した。それぞれの構成については表1にも示す。
ゴム成分をEPDM(JSR T7241 JSR社製)とし、このゴム成分100質量部に対して、補強材のFEFカーボンブラック(シーストSO 東海カーボン社製)45質量部、機能性充填材の粉状の超高分子量ポリエチレン樹脂(ハイゼックスミリオン240S 三井化学社製)10質量部、軟化剤のオイル(サンパー2280 日本サン石油社製)10質量部、加硫促進助剤の酸化亜鉛(酸化亜鉛3種 堺化学工業社製)5質量部、加工助剤のステアリン酸(ルナック 花王社製)1質量部、共架橋剤(バルノックPM 大内新興化学社製)4質量部、架橋剤の有機過酸化物(ペロキシモンF40(純度40質量%) 日油社製)7質量部(有効成分:2.8質量部)、並びに、ナイロン短繊維(レオナ66 旭化成社製、フィラメント繊度:6.7dtex、繊維長:3mm)18質量部、及びフィラメント繊度が2.5dtexの太径PPTA短繊維(ケブラー 東レ・デュポン社製、繊維長:3mm)10質量部を添加して混練した未架橋ゴム組成物を調製し、これを加熱及び加圧して圧縮試験及び引張試験用の架橋ゴム組成物を作製し、それを実施例1とした。
太径PPTA短繊維として、フィラメント繊度が3.3dtexのもの(ケブラー 東レ・デュポン社製、繊維長:3mm)を用いたことを除いて実施例1と同様にして、圧縮試験及び引張試験用の架橋ゴム組成物を作製し、それを実施例2とした。
太径アラミド短繊維に代えて、フィラメント繊度が1.7dtexのPPTA短繊維(ケブラー 東レ・デュポン社製、繊維長:3mm)を用いたことを除いて実施例と同様にして、圧縮試験及び引張試験用の架橋ゴム組成物を作製し、それを比較例とした。
実施例1〜2及び比較例のそれぞれの架橋ゴム組成物について、軸方向が列理方向に一致する円柱状の試験片を作成し、JISK6265:2001に基づいて、フレクソメータ(FT−1200 上島製作所社製)を用い、試験温度100℃、試験静荷重250N、試験動荷重250N、及び試験周波数10Hzとして、列理方向の100℃における圧縮の貯蔵たて弾性係数(E’)を測定した。また、長さ方向が列理方向に一致する短冊状の試験片を作成し、JISK6394:2007に基づいて、動的粘弾性試験機を用い、試験温度100℃、試験動歪0.1%、及び試験周波数10Hzとして、列理方向の100℃における引張の貯蔵たて弾性係数(E’)を測定した。そして、列理方向の100℃における圧縮の貯蔵たて弾性係数(E’)の引張の貯蔵たて弾性係数(E’)に対する比を算出した。
試験結果を表1に示す。この表1によれば、太径PPTA短繊維を用いた実施例1及び2は、比較例と対比して、列理方向の100℃における圧縮の貯蔵たて弾性係数(E’)及び引張の貯蔵たて弾性係数(E’)のいずれも高く、加えて、列理方向の100℃における圧縮の貯蔵たて弾性係数(E’)の引張の貯蔵たて弾性係数(E’)に対する比も高いことが分かる。
Claims (7)
- ゴム成分と、前記ゴム成分に分散した繊維長が0.5mm以上10mm以下で且つフィラメント繊度が2.5dtex以上5.0dtex以下のパラ系アラミド短繊維と、を含有する架橋ゴム組成物。
- 請求項1に記載された架橋ゴム組成物において、
列理方向の100℃における圧縮の貯蔵たて弾性係数の引張の貯蔵たて弾性係数に対する比が0.260以上である架橋ゴム組成物。 - 請求項1又は2に記載された架橋ゴム組成物において、
前記ゴム成分に分散した前記パラ系アラミド短繊維以外の繊維長が0.5mm以上10mm以下である短繊維を更に含有する架橋ゴム組成物。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載された架橋ゴム組成物において、
前記ゴム成分がエチレン−α−オレフィンエラストマーを含む架橋ゴム組成物。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載された架橋ゴム組成物において、
前記ゴム成分は、有機過酸化物が架橋剤とされて架橋されている架橋ゴム組成物。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載された架橋ゴム組成物において、
前記ゴム成分が共架橋剤を介することによっても架橋されている架橋ゴム組成物。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載された架橋ゴム組成物において、
前記パラ系アラミド短繊維がポリパラフェニレンテレフタルアミド短繊維を含む架橋ゴム組成物。
