Description
ステップS1504にて、検出した現圧縮比が目標圧縮比と同じであるかを検出する。同じである場合は、ステップS1505に進み、異なる場合は、ステップS1506に進む。ステップS1505では、圧縮比制御フラグをOFFに設定し、ステップS1507に進む。ステップS1506では、圧縮比制御フラグをONに設定し、ステップS1507に進む。

式(1)においてΔεT0は検出温度が基準温度より高い場合は0または正の値、検出温度が基準温度より低い場合は、0または負の値とする補正値である。具体的な値は、吸気温度を変更し、様々な条件における補正量をマップとして作成し、ROM20dに格納する。定性的には、検出温度と基準温度の差が大きい程、補正量ΔεT0を大きくし、前記差が小さいほど、ΔεT0を小さくすることができる。温度が上がるとノックが発生しやすくなるので、圧縮比の上限が小さくなる。このように補正することで、ノックの発生を抑制しつつ、効率を最大化できる圧縮比を選定可能になる。

式(2)においてΔADVは検出温度が基準温度より大きい場合に0または正の値、つまり進角量を減らす方向、検出温度が基準温度より小さい場合に0または負の値、つまり進角量を増やす方向、に補正する。ΔADVは、事前に実験によりマップを作成し、ROM20dに格納する。定性的には、検出温度と基準温度の差が大きい程、ΔADVを大きくし、検出温度と基準温度の差が小さい程、ΔADVを小さくすることができる。温度が上がるとノックが発生しやすくなるので、最適な点火時期は遅くなる。このように補正することで、圧縮比を変化している間においてもノックの発生を抑制することが可能になる。

ADVP0,εP0は対応特性から設定した点火時期及び圧縮比である.ΔADVPは点火時期の補正値であり,検出圧力の最大値が基準値を超えている場合は,正の値と設定し,それ以外では0と設定する.εP0は対応特性から設定した点火時期及び圧縮比である。ΔεPは圧縮比の補正値であり、検出圧力の最大値が基準値を超えている場合は、正の値と設定し、それ以外では0と設定する。ΔεPは事前のエンジン試験でマップを作成し、これをROM20dに格納しておき、このマップに基づき決定できる。定性的には、検出圧力と基準圧力の差が大きい程、ΔεPを大きくすることができる。ステップS2018は圧縮比が目標値に達するまで実行される。圧力の最大値をノック発生手前であることの判定基準として用いると、圧力値が基準値を超えている時間帯は、ノックが発生直前であることを示す。リアルタイムでノック発生が近いか、を筒内圧から検出し、圧縮比の補正を行うことで、筒内の環境(水温、壁温等)に応じノックを回避しつつ圧縮比を最大化できる。この結果、効率改善幅を最大化できる。
Claims (2)
- 気筒と、前記気筒に供給される外気の湿度を検出する湿度検出手段と、前記気筒の圧縮比を変更する可変圧縮比機構と、前記気筒内の混合気に点火する点火装置と、を備える内燃機関を制御する内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記可変圧縮比機構を制御する圧縮比制御部と、
前記点火装置の点火時期を制御する点火制御部と、EGR機構と、を備え、
圧縮比と点火時期との対応特性が内燃機関の動作状態に関する所定の条件に従って湿度及びEGR率で定義する実効EGR率ごとに決定され、
前記圧縮比制御部は、検出された実効EGR率に応じて前記可変圧縮比機構の目標圧縮比を決定し、
前記点火制御部は、前記可変圧縮比機構が圧縮比を前記目標圧縮比まで変化させる間、検出した実効EGR率及び検出した現圧縮比に応じて前記対応特性から決定される点火時期に基づいて前記点火装置の点火時期を制御し、
前記所定の条件は、内燃機関の出力および回転数を固定した条件である内燃機関の制御装置。 - 気筒と、前記気筒に供給される外気の湿度を検出する湿度検出手段と、前記気筒の圧縮比を変更する可変圧縮比機構と、前記気筒内の混合気に点火する点火装置と、を備える内燃機関を制御する内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記可変圧縮比機構を制御する圧縮比制御部と、
前記点火装置の点火時期を制御する点火制御部と、を備え、
圧縮比と点火時期との対応特性が内燃機関の動作状態に関する所定の条件に従って湿度ごとに決定され、
前記圧縮比制御部は、検出された湿度に応じて前記可変圧縮比機構の目標圧縮比を決定し、
前記点火制御部は、前記可変圧縮比機構が圧縮比を前記目標圧縮比まで変化させる間、検出した湿度及び検出した現圧縮比に応じて前記対応特性から決定される点火時期に基づいて前記点火装置の点火時期を制御し、
検出した湿度が高い状態から低い状態へ変化した際に、前記検出した湿度の変化率が基準値よりも小さい場合に、
前記点火制御部が、点火時期を遅角化するように制御し、
前記圧縮比制御部は、前記湿度に応じて設定した目標圧縮比まで圧縮比を制御し、
圧縮比が目標圧縮比に達した後に、前記点火制御部が、検出した湿度及び検出した現圧縮比に応じて前記対応特性から決定される点火時期に基づいて前記点火装置の点火時期を制御し、
前記所定の条件は、内燃機関の出力および回転数を固定した条件である内燃機関の制御装置。
