Description
図1は、本発明の第1実施形態における電源システム100の全体構成を示すブロック図である。本実施形態の電源システム100は、異なる充放電特性を有する2つの二次電池を備え、車両に搭載可能な電源システムである。この電源システム100は、例えば、アイドルストップ機能を備えるエンジンを搭載する車両等に適用される。
以下、第1実施形態の電源システム100の作用・効果を明確にするために、従来の電源システムの制御について、図4のタイムチャートを用いて説明する。図4は、比較例の電源システムにおける主回路スイッチ及び副回路スイッチのオン/オフ制御とオルタネータの発電時の動作を示すタイムチャートである。
以下、本発明の第2実施形態について、第1実施形態との相違点を主として説明する。なお、本実施形態では、前述した第1実施形態と同様の機能を果たす部分には、同一の符号を用いて重複する説明を適宜省略する。

Claims (8)
- 車両に搭載可能な電源システムであって、
電気負荷に接続される鉛酸蓄電池と、
第1経路及び第2経路の2つの経路を介して、前記電気負荷に対して前記鉛酸蓄電池と並列に接続され、前記鉛酸蓄電池と充放電特性が異なるリチウムイオン蓄電池と、
前記第1経路上に設けられた第1スイッチと、
前記第2経路上に設けられた第2スイッチと、
前記第2経路上に設けられる電気抵抗素子と、
前記鉛酸蓄電池及び前記リチウムイオン蓄電池を充電可能であって、前記第1経路において前記第1スイッチに対して前記リチウムイオン蓄電池の反対側に設けられる、発電機と、
前記発電機のオン/オフを制御するとともに、前記第1スイッチをオン/オフ制御する制御手段と、
を備え、
前記制御手段は、
前記電気負荷からの電圧上昇要求に応じて、前記第2スイッチをオンとするとともに、前記制御手段によって前記第1スイッチをオフすることで、前記発電機からの前記第1経路を介した前記リチウムイオン蓄電池への電力供給が遮断し、
前記発電機を前記電気負荷の入力電圧が高まる発電モードに切り替えることで、前記発電機において発電される電力が、前記第2経路を介して、前記リチウムイオン蓄電池に供給される、
ことを特徴とする電源システム。 - 請求項1に記載の電源システムであって、
前記制御手段は、前記電圧上昇要求の有無を判定する判定手段を備え、
前記判定手段により、前記電圧上昇要求があることが判定されると、前記制御手段は、
前記第1スイッチをオフし、その後、前記発電機を発電モードに切り替える、
電源システム。 - 請求項1または2に記載の電源システムであって、
前記電気負荷に接続され、前記リチウムイオン蓄電池と充放電特性が異なり、前記電気負荷に対して前記リチウムイオン蓄電池と並列に接続される、鉛酸蓄電池と、
前記第2経路上に設けられ、前記制御手段により制御される第2スイッチと、を有し、
前記電気抵抗素子は、前記第1経路のハーネス抵抗より抵抗値が大きい、
電源システム。 - 請求項3に記載の電源システムであって、
前記第1スイッチは、2つのリレーの少なくとも一方から構成される、
電源システム。 - 請求項4に記載の電源システムであって、
前記第2スイッチの一端は、前記2つのリレーの間に直接的又は間接的に接続される、
電源システム。 - 請求項4に記載の電源システムであって、
前記第2スイッチの一端は、前記第1スイッチの2つのリレーの一方と、前記リチウムイオン蓄電池との間に接続される、
電源システム。 - 請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の電源システムであって、
前記電気抵抗素子は、その抵抗値が固定の電気抵抗素子、前記第2経路のハーネス抵抗、又は電流センサにより構成される、
電源システム。 - 電気負荷に接続される鉛酸蓄電池と、
第1経路及び第2経路の2つの経路を介して、前記電気負荷に対して前記鉛酸蓄電池と並列に接続され、前記鉛酸蓄電池と充放電特性が異なるリチウムイオン蓄電池と、
前記第1経路上に設けられた第1スイッチと、
前記第2経路上に設けられた第2スイッチと、
前記第2経路上に設けられる電気抵抗と、
前記鉛酸蓄電池及び前記リチウムイオン蓄電池を充電可能であって、前記第1経路において前記第1スイッチに対して前記リチウムイオン蓄電池の反対側に設けられる、発電機と、
コントローラと、を備える電源システムの制御方法であって、
前記コントローラが、前記電気負荷からの電圧上昇要求の有無を判定するステップと、
前記コントローラが、前記電圧上昇要求があると判定した場合には、前記第2スイッチをオンとするとともに、前記第1スイッチをオフし、前記発電機からの前記第1経路を介した前記リチウムイオン蓄電池への電力供給が遮断するスイッチオフステップと、
前記コントローラが、前記スイッチオフステップの後、前記発電機を前記電気負荷の入力電圧が高まる発電モードに切り替えることで前記発電機からの電力を、前記第2経路を介して、前記リチウムイオン蓄電池に供給する切り替えステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする電源システムの制御方法。
