Description
図1に示すように、車両1は、走行用駆動源として設けられ、ガソリンエンジンとして構成された内燃機関2と、内燃機関2の燃料であるガソリンを貯留する燃料タンク3とを備えている。燃料タンク3に貯留された燃料Fは燃料ポンプ4にて吸い上げられてフィードパイプ5及び燃料噴射弁6を介して内燃機関2の吸気通路7に供給される。吸気通路7には空気濾過用のエアフィルタ8と吸入空気量を調整するスロットルバルブ9とが設けられている。
次に、本発明の第2の形態を図6及び図7を参照しながら説明する。第2の形態は減圧制御の内容を除いて第1の形態と共通する。したがって、以下においては物理的構成等の第1の形態との共通部分の説明を省略し、上述した第1の形態の説明及び図面が適宜参照される。
次に、本発明の第3の形態を図8及び図9を参照しながら説明する。第3の形態は減圧制御の内容を除いて第1の形態と共通する。したがって、以下においては物理的構成等の第1の形態との共通部分の説明を省略し、上述した第1の形態の説明及び図面が適宜参照される。
・判定領域Rb:PTb<PT≦PTc、駆動周期B
・判定領域Rc:PTc<PT≦PTd、駆動周期C
・判定領域Rd:PT>PTd、駆動周期D
ただし、各閾値PTa〜PTdには、PTa<PTb<PTc<PTdの関係が成立し、各駆動周期A〜Dには、A<B<C<Dの関係が成立している。
次に、本発明の第4の形態を図10及び図11を参照しながら説明する。第4の形態は減圧制御の内容を除いて第1の形態と共通する。したがって、以下においては物理的構成等の第1の形態との共通部分の説明を省略し、上述した第1の形態の説明及び図面が適宜参照される。

Claims (2)
- 車両の燃料タンク内で発生した蒸発燃料を吸着するキャニスタと、
前記キャニスタと前記燃料タンクとを接続するベーパ通路と、
前記ベーパ通路に設けられ、前記ベーパ通路を流れる蒸発燃料の流量を調整できるように開度変更可能な封鎖弁と、
前記燃料タンクの燃料レベルに応じたフロート式の弁体の変位を利用して前記ベーパ通路を開閉する弁装置と、
前記燃料タンクへの給油前に当該燃料タンクの内圧が減圧されるように前記封鎖弁を制御する減圧制御を行う制御手段と、
を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記燃料タンクへの給油前において前記内圧が所定値を超える場合、前記ベーパ通路の流量が前記弁装置の前記弁体にて前記ベーパ通路が閉鎖される限界流量を超えない範囲で前記内圧の減圧が進行し、かつ前記内圧が低くなるほど前記封鎖弁の開弁速度が速くなるように前記内圧を監視しながら前記減圧制御を行い、
前記内圧に関し、その大きさ毎に段階分けされた複数の判定領域が設定されており、
前記制御手段は、同じ前記判定領域内では前記封鎖弁の開弁速度が一定に維持され、かつ低段階の前記判定領域ほど前記封鎖弁の開弁速度が速くなるように前記減圧制御を行うことを特徴とする蒸発燃料処理装置。 - 車両の燃料タンク内で発生した蒸発燃料を吸着するキャニスタと、
前記キャニスタと前記燃料タンクとを接続するベーパ通路と、
前記ベーパ通路に設けられ、前記ベーパ通路を流れる蒸発燃料の流量を調整できるように開度変更可能な封鎖弁と、
前記燃料タンクの燃料レベルに応じたフロート式の弁体の変位を利用して前記ベーパ通路を開閉する弁装置と、
前記燃料タンクへの給油前に当該燃料タンクの内圧が減圧されるように前記封鎖弁を制御する減圧制御を行う制御手段と、
を備え、
前記制御手段は、前記燃料タンクへの給油前において前記内圧が所定値を超える場合、前記ベーパ通路の流量が前記弁装置の前記弁体にて前記ベーパ通路が閉鎖される限界流量を超えない範囲で前記内圧の減圧が進行し、かつ前記内圧が低くなるほど前記封鎖弁の開弁速度が速くなるように前記内圧を監視しながら前記減圧制御を行うとともに、前記減圧制御を開始してから前記内圧の変化量が所定量を超えるまで前記ベーパ通路の流量が前記限界流量を超えないことを限度として設定された開弁速度で駆動されるように、前記封鎖弁を制御することを特徴とする蒸発燃料処理装置。
