Claims (5)
- 円環状のヨークと、前記ヨークの内周側に突出する複数のティースと、各前記ティースの間に形成された複数のスロットとを有するステータコアと、
前記ティースに対応する複数のリブと前記スロットに対応する複数の開口とを有し、前記ステータコアの軸方向端面に取り付けられる円環状のカフサと、
前記スロットと前記開口とを通り、前記ティースと前記リブとに巻回されたコイルと、を含む回転電機であって、
前記コイルは、前記カフサの軸方向外側に形成された円環状のコイルエンドを有し、
前記カフサは、内径が前記コイルエンドの外径よりも大きく、コイルエンド側の面の外周から軸方向外側に延びる円筒状の外周側フランジを有し、
前記外周側フランジの内周面と、前記コイルエンドの外周面と、前記カフサの前記コイルエンド側の面と共に外周側冷媒室を構成するように前記外周側フランジと前記コイルエンドとをモールドする樹脂を有する回転電機。 - 請求項1に記載の回転電機であって、
円環状の前記カフサは、内径が前記コイルエンドの外形より大きい円環部と、前記円環部から前記ティースに対応する位置で内径方向に突出する複数のリブと、前記リブの内周を接続するリング部と、前記円環部の外周から軸方向に外側に延びる円筒状の外周側フランジとを有し、
前記樹脂が、前記外周側フランジの内周面と、前記コイルエンドの外周面と、前記カフサの前記円環部と共に外周側冷媒室を構成するように前記外周側フランジと前記コイルエンドとをモールドする回転電機。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の回転電機であって、
回転軸が重力方向と交差する姿勢で載置され、
前記外周側冷媒室は、前記回転軸よりも重力方向上側に配置されて外部から前記外周側冷媒室に冷媒を導入する冷媒導入孔と、重力方向下端に配置されて前記外周側冷媒室から冷媒を排出する冷媒排出孔と備える回転電機。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の回転電機であって、
前記カフサは、外径が前記コイルエンドの内径よりも小さく、前記コイルエンド側の面の内周から軸方向外側に延びる円筒状の内周側フランジを有し、
前記樹脂は、更に、前記内周側フランジの外周面と前記コイルエンドの内周面と前記カフサの前記コイルエンド側の面と共に内周側冷媒室を構成するように前記内周側フランジと前記コイルエンドとをモールドする回転電機。 - 請求項4に記載の回転電機であって、
回転軸が重力方向と交差する姿勢で載置され、
前記内周側冷媒室は、前記回転軸よりも重力方向上側に配置されて前記内周側冷媒室からロータに冷媒を掛けるロータ用冷媒供給孔を備える回転電機。
