Description
本実施形態に係るゴム部材の製造装置10は、図1及び図2に示すように、押出機12と、口金14と、支持部材16とを備え、押出機12により混練したゴム材料を口金14から押し出して、図5に例示する円環板状のゴム部材Mを支持部材16の支持面34上に成型する装置である。
図6は、第2実施形態に係る製造装置の口金付近の構成を示す断面図である。本実施形態では、支持面34に対向する口金14の対向面54の形状が第1実施形態とは異なる。対向面54は、吐出口30よりも移動方向後方L2側では、第1実施形態と同様、支持面34と平行な平面状であるが、吐出口30よりも移動方向前方L1側では、当該移動方向前方L1側ほど支持面34との間隔が狭くなるように傾斜した傾斜面54Aに形成されている。シャッタ48の閉塞面52は、この対向面54の傾斜面54Aから連続する傾斜面に形成されている。このように、口金14の対向面54は移動方向前方L1側で傾斜面54Aに形成されてもよく、該傾斜面54Aを利用して、シャッタ48の閉塞面52にゴム材料Mrをスムースに送り込むことができる。第2実施形態について、その他の構成及び作用効果は第1実施形態と同様であり、説明は省略する。
次に、図7〜9を参照して第3実施形態について説明する。第3実施形態は、支持部材がドラム状をなして口金から吐出したリボン状のゴム部材を支持部材の外周面に巻き付ける点、及び、口金にシャッタが設けられていない点で、上記第1実施形態と主に相違する。
上記実施形態では、円環板状のゴム部材を成型する場合と、リボン状のゴム部材を積層して全体として円筒状のゴム部材を成型する場合について説明したが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、例えば、成型した板状のゴム部材の始端部と終端部とを厚み方向に積層して接合してなる円筒状のゴム部材を成型する場合など、様々な態様に用いることができる。具体的な用途としては、空気入りタイヤのインナーライナー、サイドウォール部、ビード部、トレッド部などの各タイヤ構成部材を成型するために用いることができる。
Claims (4)
- ゴム材料を混練して送り出す押出機と、前記押出機から供給されたゴム材料を吐出する口金と、前記口金に対向する支持面とを備え、前記支持面と前記口金とを相対的に移動させて前記支持面上に前記ゴム材料からなるゴム部材を成型するゴム部材の製造装置において、
前記口金と前記支持面との間に形成され、前記口金の吐出口から吐出されたゴム材料が溜まるゴム溜まり部と、
前記ゴム溜まり部を前記口金に対する前記支持面の移動方向前方にて閉塞可能であり、前記移動方向前方側ほど前記支持面との間隔が狭くなるように傾斜した閉塞面と、を備え、
前記ゴム溜まり部が前記移動方向前方に開口部を有し、前記開口部を開閉するシャッタが前記口金に設けられ、前記シャッタに前記開口部を閉塞可能な前記閉塞面が設けられ、
前記ゴム溜まり部を前記閉塞面で閉塞した状態で前記吐出口からゴム材料を吐出し、前記ゴム溜まり部の少なくとも一部が前記ゴム材料で充填された後、前記支持面と前記口金とを相対的に移動させ、前記支持面への前記ゴム材料の貼り付け始端を前記閉塞面に押し当てて傾斜面状に成型してから、前記シャッタを移動させることで前記閉塞面を前記支持面から離間する方向に移動させる
ことを特徴とするゴム部材の製造装置。 - 前記支持面が円板状をなす支持部材の板面により構成され、前記支持面と前記口金との相対的な回転移動により前記支持面上に円環板状のゴム部材を成型することを特徴とする請求項1記載の製造装置。
- 押出機より送り出したゴム材料を口金から吐出しながら、前記口金に対向する支持面と前記口金とを相対的に移動させて、前記支持面上に前記ゴム材料からなるゴム部材を成型するゴム部材の製造方法において、
前記口金と前記支持面との間にゴム溜まり部を形成するとともに、前記ゴム溜まり部を前記口金に対する前記支持面の移動方向前方において当該移動方向前方側ほど前記支持面との間隔が狭くなるように傾斜した閉塞面により閉塞し、ここで、前記ゴム溜まり部は前記移動方向前方に開口部を有し、前記開口部を開閉するシャッタが前記口金に設けられ、前記シャッタに前記開口部を閉塞可能な前記閉塞面が設けられて、当該閉塞面により前記開口部を閉塞しており、
前記ゴム溜まり部を前記閉塞面で閉塞した状態で前記口金の吐出口から前記ゴム溜まり部にゴム材料を吐出し、前記ゴム溜まり部の少なくとも一部が前記ゴム材料で充填された後、前記支持面と前記口金とを相対的に移動させ、前記支持面への前記ゴム材料の貼り付け始端を前記閉塞面に押し当てて傾斜面状に成型してから、前記シャッタを移動させることで前記閉塞面を前記支持面から離間する方向に移動させて前記開口部を開放する
ことを特徴とするゴム部材の製造方法。 - 前記支持面が円板状をなす支持部材の板面により構成され、前記支持面と前記口金との相対的な回転移動により前記支持面上に円環板状のゴム部材を成型することを特徴とする請求項3記載の製造方法。
