Description
化合物[1]の合成
ブロモフルオランテン26.0g、ビス(ピナコラート)ジボロン35.2g、酢酸カリウム27.2g、ジメチルホルムアミド462mLを混合し、窒素置換した。この混合溶液に[1,1’−ビス(ジフェニルホスフィノ)フェロセン]パラジウム(II)ジクロリド・ジクロロメタン錯体0.75gを加え、100℃に加熱した。1時間後、室温に冷却した後、酢酸エチル250mL、トルエン250mL、水250mLを加え分液した。水層を酢酸エチル200mL、トルエン200mLで抽出した後、先の有機層と合わせ、水500mLで3回洗浄した。有機層を硫酸マグネシウムで乾燥し、溶媒を留去した。シリカゲルカラムクロマトグラフィーにより精製し、溶出液をエバポレートし、真空乾燥することにより、中間体Aを16.4g得た。
化合物[1]: 1H−NMR (CDCl3(d=ppm)) δ 7.10−7.25(m,6H),7.32−7.43(m,4H),7.47−7.55(m,3H),7.61−7.67(m,2H),7.90−8.01(m,5H),8.27(d,1H),8.49(d,1H)。
化合物[2]の合成
アセナフチレン14.0g、ジフェニルイソベンゾフラン25.0gおよびo−キシレン200mlを混合し、窒素気流下で加熱還流した。2時間後、室温に冷ました後、溶媒を留去し、エーテル300mLを加えた。得られた析出物をろ過し、真空乾燥することにより、中間体D27.7g(収率71%)を得た。
化合物[2]: 1H−NMR (CDCl3(d=ppm)) δ 6.63−6.67(m,2H),7.08−7.21(m,6H),7.29−7.48(m,9H),7.56−7.71(m,12H),7.86(d,1H),8.24(dd,1H),8.45(d,1H)。
化合物[3]の合成
中間体F10.0g、ビス(ピナコラート)ジボロン7.9g、酢酸カリウム6.1g、ジメチルホルムアミド52mLを混合し、窒素置換した。この混合溶液に[1,1’−ビス(ジフェニルホスフィノ)フェロセン]パラジウム(II)ジクロリド・ジクロロメタン錯体0.51gを加え、100℃に加熱した。1時間後、室温に冷却した後、水200mLを加え、析出した固体をろ過した。得られた固体をトルエンに溶解し、活性炭とQuadraSil(登録商標)を加え、シリカパッドでろ過した。ろ液の溶媒を留去した後、メタノールを加え、析出した固体をろ過し、真空乾燥することにより、中間体Hを10.8g得た。
化合物[3]: 1H−NMR (DMSO−d6(d=ppm)) δ 6.57−6.66(m,2H),7.33(t,1H),7.40−7.63(m,14H),7.69−7.80(m,7H),7.88(d,1H),8.19(dt,1H),8.32(d,1H),8.43(s,1H),8.77(dd,1H),8.94(d,1H)。
ITO透明導電膜を165nm堆積させたガラス基板(ジオマテック(株)製、11Ω/□、スパッタ品)を38×46mmに切断し、エッチングを行った。得られた基板を“セミコクリーン56”(商品名、フルウチ化学(株)製)で15分間超音波洗浄してから、超純水で洗浄した。この基板を素子を作製する直前に1時間UV−オゾン処理し、真空蒸着装置内に設置して、装置内の真空度が5×10−4Pa以下になるまで排気した。抵抗加熱法によって、まず正孔注入層として、HAT−CN6を5nm、正孔輸送層として、HT−1を50nm蒸着した。次に、発光層として、ホスト材料H−1、ドーパント材料D−1をドープ濃度が5重量%になるようにして20nmの厚さに蒸着した。次に、電子輸送層として化合物[1]を30nmの厚さに蒸着して積層した。次に、フッ化リチウムを0.5nm蒸着した後、アルミニウムを1000nm蒸着して陰極とし、5×5mm角の素子を作製した。ここで言う膜厚は、水晶発振式膜厚モニター表示値である。この発光素子の1000cd/m2時の特性は、駆動電圧3.7V、外部量子効率4.5%であった。また初期輝度を1000cd/m2に設定し、定電流駆動させたところ輝度50%低下する輝度半減時間は1600時間であった。なおHAT−CN6、HT−1、H−1、D−1は以下に示す化合物である。
電子輸送層に表1に記載した化合物を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして発光素子を作成し、評価した。結果を表1に示す。なお、化合物[4]〜[30]は下記に示す化合物である。

電子輸送層に表2に記載した化合物を用いた以外は実施例31と同様にして発光素子を作成し、評価した。結果を表2に示す。

電子輸送層、ドナー性材料として表3に記載した化合物を用いた以外は実施例61と同様にして発光素子を作成し、評価した。結果を表3に示す。2E−1は下記に示す化合物である。

ITO透明導電膜を165nm堆積させたガラス基板(ジオマテック(株)製、11Ω/□、スパッタ品)を38×46mmに切断し、エッチングを行った。得られた基板を“セミコクリーン56”(商品名、フルウチ化学(株)製)で15分間超音波洗浄してから、超純水で洗浄した。この基板を素子を作製する直前に1時間UV−オゾン処理し、真空蒸着装置内に設置して、装置内の真空度が5×10−4Pa以下になるまで排気した。抵抗加熱法によって、まず正孔注入層として、HAT−CN6を5nm、第1正孔輸送層として、HT−1を40nm蒸着した。さらに第2正孔輸送層としてHT−2を10nm蒸着した。次に、発光層として、ホスト材料H−2、ドーパント材料D−2をドープ濃度が10重量%になるようにして20nmの厚さに蒸着した。次に、電子輸送層として化合物[4]を30nmの厚さに蒸着して積層した。次に、フッ化リチウムを0.5nm蒸着した後、アルミニウムを1000nm蒸着して陰極とし、5×5mm角の素子を作製した。ここで言う膜厚は、水晶発振式膜厚モニター表示値である。この発光素子の4000cd/m2時の特性は、駆動電圧3.9V、外部量子効率13.8%であった。また初期輝度を4000cd/m2に設定し、定電流駆動させたところ輝度半減時間は1900時間であった。なお、HT−2は以下に示す化合物である。
電子輸送層として表4記載の化合物を用いた以外は、実施例91と同様にして素子を作成し、評価した。結果を表4に示す。

第2正孔輸送層および電子輸送層として表4記載の化合物を用いた以外は、実施例92と同様にして素子を作成し、評価した。結果を表4に示す。なおHT−3、HT−4は以下に示す化合物である。
第2正孔輸送層および電子輸送層として表4記載の化合物を用いた以外は、実施例32と同様にして素子を作成し、評価した。結果を表4に示す。
Claims (13)
- 下記一般式(1)で表されるフルオランテン誘導体であって、Arが下記一般式(2)または下記一般式(4)で表されるフルオランテン誘導体。
- L2−N(A1)(A2)が下記一般式(6)〜(9)で表されるいずれかの構造である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のフルオランテン誘導体。
- nが1である請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のフルオランテン誘導体。
- R7およびR12が置換もしくは無置換のアリール基である請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のフルオランテン誘導体。
- R7およびR12がフェニル基である請求項6に記載のフルオランテン誘導体。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のフルオランテン誘導体を含有する発光素子材料。
- 陽極と陰極の間に有機層が存在し、電気エネルギーにより発光する発光素子であって、前記有機層に請求項1〜9のいずれか記載のフルオランテン誘導体を含有することを特徴とする発光素子。
- 前記有機層が電子輸送層を有し、請求項1〜9のいずれか記載のフルオランテン誘導体が前記電子輸送層に含有される請求項11記載の発光素子。
- 前記有機層が正孔輸送層を有し、前記正孔輸送層がカルバゾール骨格を有する材料を含有する請求項11または12に記載の発光素子。
