Claims (1)
- 内燃機関の排気通路に装着される排気ガス浄化用の触媒の上流側の空燃比が変動してから下流側の空燃比が変動するまでの間の経過時間を計測することを通じて、触媒の酸素吸蔵能力を推測するダイアグノーシスを実施するものであって、
少なくとも気筒に充填される新気の量が上限値以下であることを前記ダイアグノーシスの実行開始条件としており、
排気通路から吸気通路に排気ガスを還流させるEGR中にダイアグノーシスを実行しようとする場合、EGRを停止するとともに、その停止直前のEGRガス量からEGRを停止することにより増加する新気の量を推算して、その増加量分だけ前記上限値を嵩上げして前記ダイアグノーシスの実行開始の可否を判断する内燃機関の制御装置。
