Description
また、軟性の長尺部の先端に関節部を介して処置部を有する医療用マニピュレータにおいては、一般に、長尺部の可撓性、トルク伝達性および圧縮性を持たせるために、金属製のコイルチューブが使用される。
その一方で、上述したように関節部とコイルチューブとはトルクを伝達するために相互に連結されており、関節部には該関節部を駆動するための金属製のワイヤが接続されている。
また、処置部近傍の関節部を被覆するカバーは、関節部の動作を妨げることなく、かつ、関節部の外径を小さくする必要から、肉厚を大きくすることは困難であり、カバーによる絶縁性能の向上は困難である。
このようにすることで、処置部の姿勢を長尺部の長手軸回りに回転させたい場合には、長尺部の基端側において捻りトルクを加えることにより、長尺部によって伝達された捻りトルクが、接続部材を介して関節部に伝達され、処置部の姿勢を変更することができる。
このようにすることで、関節部と接続部材とを接続部材の軸線に沿う方向に嵌合させるだけで、両者に設けられた関節側凹凸部を相互に噛み合わせることができ、接続部材と関節部との間の捻りトルクの伝達を確実に行うことができる。
このようにすることで、長尺部と接続部材とを接続部材の軸線に沿う方向に嵌合させるだけで、両者に設けられた長尺部側凹凸部を相互に噛み合わせることができ、長尺部と接続部材との間の捻りトルクの伝達を確実に行うことができる。
このようにすることで、関節側カバーが関節部を被覆し、長尺部側カバーが長尺部を被覆し、関節側カバーおよび長尺部カバーが、絶縁材料からなる接続部材を部分的に被覆する位置まで延びることにより、導電性素材の部分を完全に被覆して外部に露出しないようにすることができる。
本実施形態に係る医療用マニピュレータ1は、図1および図2に示さるように、内視鏡やオーバーチューブ等の軟性の挿入部に設けられたチャネルを経由して患者の体内に導入されるものであって、曲がりくねったチャネルに倣って湾曲可能な可撓性を有する長尺部2と、該長尺部2の先端に取り付けられた関節部3と、該関節部3の先端に支持された処置部4と、該処置部4に電力を供給する電気ケーブル5と、長尺部2と関節部3とを接続する接続部材6と、関節部3および長尺部2を被覆するカバー7とを備えている。
マルチルーメンチューブ9は、シリコーン樹脂等の軟性の樹脂材料からなり電気ケーブル5および関節部3を駆動するためのワイヤ(図示略)等を貫通させる多数の貫通孔10を有している。
コイルチューブ8の先端には、図4に示されるように、先端に向かって延びる複数(図の例では4つ)の凸部(長尺部側凹凸部)11と凹部(長尺部側凹凸部)12とを周方向に交互に配列してなる筒状の凹凸部材13が固定されている。
関節部3の内部には貫通孔17が設けられ、電気ケーブル5を貫通させて、先端に支持している処置部4に電力を供給することができるようになっている。
電気ケーブル5は、金属製の電線を絶縁材料からなるシースで被覆したものである。
接続部材6は、硬質な絶縁材料、例えば、PEEK、セラミックあるいはポリエチレンにより構成されている。
これにより、コイルチューブ8によって伝達されてきた捻りトルクが、凹部12,24と凸部11,23との係合によって接続部材6に伝達され、かつ、ベース部材18に伝達されるようになっている。
関節側カバー27および長尺部側カバー28は、図3に示されるように、接続部材6を部分的に被覆する位置まで延びて配置され、端部どうしを突き合わせた状態に配置されている。
長尺部側カバー28は、ウレタン樹脂、FEPあるいはシリコーン樹脂により構成されている。肉厚は、例えば、0.2mmである。
本実施形態に係る医療用マニピュレータ1を用いて患者の体内の処置対象部位に対して処置を行うには、患者の体内に挿入した内視鏡またはオーバーチューブ等に備えられているチャネルを介して医療用マニピュレータ1を処置部4側から挿入しチャネルの先端から突出させた処置部4を処置対象部位に近接させる。

Claims (7)
- 導電性素材の部品を含んで構成される長尺部と、
該長尺部の先端に配置され1以上の関節を有し、導電性素材の部品を含んで構成される関節部と、
該関節部の先端に取り付けられ組織に対して処置を行う処置部と、
前記長尺部と前記関節部との間に配置され、両者を接続する絶縁材料からなる筒状の接続部材と、
前記長尺部、前記接続部材および前記関節部の内部を、前記長尺部および前記関節部に対して電気的に絶縁された状態で貫通して前記処置部に電力を供給する電気ケーブルと、
前記関節部および前記長尺部の外面を被覆する絶縁材料からなるカバーとを備える医療用マニピュレータ。 - 前記接続部材が、前記長尺部と前記関節部とを捻りトルク伝達可能に接続する請求項1に記載の医療用マニピュレータ。
- 前記関節部と前記接続部材とが、該接続部材の軸線に沿う方向に挿脱可能に嵌合され、嵌合状態において噛み合って相互の周方向の移動を係止する関節側凹凸部をそれぞれ有する請求項1に記載の医療用マニピュレータ。
- 前記接続部材と前記長尺部とが、前記接続部材の軸線に沿う方向に挿脱可能に嵌合され、嵌合状態において噛み合って相互の周方向の移動を係止する長尺部側凹凸部をそれぞれ有する請求項1に記載の医療用マニピュレータ。
- 前記カバーが、前記関節部を被覆する関節側カバーと、前記長尺部を被覆する長尺部側カバーとを備え、
前記関節側カバーおよび前記長尺部側カバーが、前記接続部材を部分的に被覆する位置まで延びている請求項1に記載の医療用マニピュレータ。 - 前記電気ケーブルは、前記処置部と電気的に接続するために前記関節部及び前記長尺部の内部の貫通孔を経由して挿通している請求項1に記載の医療用マニピュレータ。
- 前記関節部と前記長尺部とを連結するために前記関節部に嵌合部を備えており、
前記接続部材は、前記関節部と前記嵌合部と前記長尺部とを連結する部材である請求項1に記載の医療用マニピュレータ。
