Description
この全固体電池は、正極及び負極の双方が、活物質と潮解性固体電解質とを含んでなる電極層を有する形態とされている。全固体電池1は、図1に示すように、正極層2Aと、負極層2Bと、固体電解質層2Cとを有している。正極層2A、負極層2B及び固体電解質層2Cは、正極層2Aと負極層2Bとの間に固体電解質層2Cが介在するように積層されている。なお、正極層2Aや負極層2Bは、それぞれ不図示の集電体や基板等と接合されることで、それぞれ全固体電池用電極を形成するものである。
実施例1としては、潮解性固体電解質の含有量が、電極あたり25質量%である全固体電池を以下の手順に従って製造した。
はじめに、1.85gの炭酸リチウム(Li2CO3)と4.55gの五酸化二バナジウム(V2O5)を秤量して乳鉢に投入し、均一になるまで混合した。次いで、得られた混合物を、外径60mmのアルミナ製るつぼに入れ替え、ボックス型の電気炉で熱処理した。なお、この熱処理は、大気雰囲気において、10℃/分の昇温速度で580℃まで昇温させた後、580℃で10時間保持する処理とした。そして、熱処理の後、混合物を100℃まで冷却し、潮解性固体電解質としてメタバナジン酸リチウム(LiVO3)を得た。
実施例2としては、潮解性固体電解質の含有量が、電極あたり5質量%である全固体電池を製造した。なお、実施例2に係る全固体電池は、電極の作製に使用する潮解性固体電解質の重量を変えた点を除いて、実施例1と同様の手順で製造した。
実施例3としては、潮解性固体電解質の含有量が、電極あたり25質量%である全固体電池を製造した。なお、実施例3に係る全固体電池は、電極の作製に使用する潮解性固体電解質の重量を変えた点を除いて、実施例1と同様の手順で製造した。
実施例4としては、潮解性固体電解質の含有量が、電極あたり50質量%である全固体電池を製造した。なお、実施例4に係る全固体電池は、電極の作製に使用する潮解性固体電解質の重量を変えた点を除いて、実施例1と同様の手順で製造した。
実施例5としては、潮解性固体電解質の含有量が、電極あたり60質量%である全固体電池を製造した。なお、実施例5に係る全固体電池は、電極の作製に使用する潮解性固体電解質の重量を変えた点を除いて、実施例1と同様の手順で製造した。
比較例1としては、電極の作製に潮解性固体電解質を使用していない全固体電池を製造した。なお、比較例1に係る全固体電池は、正極の電極合材を、正極活物質であるLiCoO2と非潮解性固体電解質であるLi−Al−Ti−P系のNASICON型酸化物(LATP)とを均一になるまで混合して調製した点を除いて、実施例1と同様の手順で製造した。
図2において、横軸は、潮解性固体電解質として用いたメタバナジン酸リチウム(LiVO3)の電極あたりの含有量(質量%)を表し、縦軸は、製造した実施例1〜5、比較例に係る全固体電池の放電容量(mAh/g)を表している。

Claims (11)
- 正極及び負極からなる一対の電極と、
前記正極と前記負極との間に介在する固体電解質層と
を備え、
前記正極及び前記負極の少なくとも一方は、イオン伝導性、電子伝導性及び潮解性を有する潮解性固体電解質と、活物質の粒子とを含んでなる電極層を有し、
前記潮解性固体電解質が、メタバナジン酸リチウムである
ことを特徴とする全固体電池。 - 前記電極層は、前記活物質の粒子の粒子間に前記潮解性固体電解質が充満している
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の全固体電池。 - 前記正極及び前記負極の少なくとも一方が有する前記電極層は、さらに、イオン伝導性を有する非潮解性固体電解質を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の全固体電池。 - 前記潮解性固体電解質の含有量が、電極あたりの前記潮解性固体電解質、前記非潮解性固体電解質及び前記活物質の乾燥総重量に対して、5質量%以上50質量%以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の全固体電池。 - 集電体と、前記集電体上に形成され、イオン伝導性、電子伝導性及び潮解性を有する潮解性固体電解質と活物質の粒子とを含んでなる電極層とを備え、
前記電極層は、前記活物質の粒子の粒子間に前記潮解性固体電解質が充満しており、
前記潮解性固体電解質が、メタバナジン酸リチウムである
ことを特徴とする全固体電池用電極。 - 前記電極層が、さらに、イオン伝導性を有する非潮解性固体電解質を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の全固体電池用電極。 - 前記潮解性固体電解質の含有量が、電極あたりの前記潮解性固体電解質、前記非潮解性固体電解質及び前記活物質の乾燥総重量に対して、5質量%以上50質量%以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の全固体電池用電極。 - イオン伝導性、電子伝導性及び潮解性を有する潮解性固体電解質を潮解させる工程、
前記潮解させた潮解性固体電解質と活物質とを混合して電極合材を調製する工程、
前記電極合材を熱処理し、成形して電極を製造する工程、
製造された前記電極を、対となる正極及び負極のうち他方の電極との間に固体電解質層が介在するように、前記固体電解質層と接合する工程を備え、
前記潮解性固体電解質が、メタバナジン酸リチウムであることを特徴とする全固体電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極合材を調製する工程において、前記潮解性固体電解質及び前記活物質と共に、さらに、イオン伝導性を有する非潮解性固体電解質を混合する
ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の全固体電池の製造方法。 - 前記電極合材を調製する工程において、混合される前記潮解性固体電解質の乾燥重量が、前記潮解性固体電解質、前記非潮解性固体電解質及び前記活物質の乾燥総重量に対して、5質量部以上50質量部以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の全固体電池の製造方法。 - 前記熱処理における加熱温度が、100℃以上300℃以下である
ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の全固体電池の製造方法。
