Description
Xは、式(4)の基であり、ここで、破線の結合は、各場合に二個のベンゼン環への結合を示し:
X1は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、XまたはB(R1)、C(R1)2、Si(R1)2、C=C(R1)2、C=NR1、B(Ar1)、C(Ar1)2、Si(Ar1)2、C=C(Ar1)2またはC=NAr1から選ばれる二価ブリッジであり、
R1は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、H、D、F、Cl、Br、I、CHO、N(Ar1)2、C(=O)Ar1、P(=O)(Ar1)2、S(=O)Ar1、S(=O)2Ar1、CR2=CR2Ar1、CN、NO2、Si(R2)3、B(OR2)2、B(R2)2、B(N(R2))2、OSO2R2、1〜40個のC原子を有する直鎖アルキル、アルコキシもしくはチオアルコキシ基、2〜40個のC原子を有する直鎖アルケニルもしくはアルキニル基、3〜40個のC原子を有する分岐あるいは環状アルキル、アルケニル、アルキニル、アルコキシもしくはチオアルコキシ基(夫々は、1以上の基R2により置換されてよく、1以上の、好ましくは、非隣接のCH2基は、R2C=CR2、C≡C、Si(R2)2、Ge(R2)2、Sn(R2)2、C=O、C=S、C=Se、C=NR2、P(=O)(R2)、SO、SO2、NR2、O、SもしくはCONR2で置き代えられてよく、ここで、1以上のH原子は、D、F、Cl、Br、I、CNもしくはNO2で置き代えられてよい。)または、各場合に、1以上の基R2により置換されてよい5〜60個の芳香族環原子を有する芳香族もしくは複素環式芳香族環構造、1以上の基R2で置換されてよい5〜60個の芳香族環原子を有するアリールオキシもしくはヘテロアリールオキシ基、各場合に、1以上の基R2で置換されてよい5〜60個の芳香族環原子を有するアラルキルもしくはヘテロアラルキル基であり;ここで、2個以上の隣接する置換基R1は、互いにモノ-あるいはポリ環状脂肪族もしくは芳香族環構造を形成してもよく;
Ar1は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、1以上の基R2により置換されてよい5〜30個の芳香族環原子を有する芳香族もしくは複素環式芳香族環構造であって、ここで、同じ窒素、燐もしくは臭素原子に結合する二個の基Ar1は、単結合またはB(R2)、C(R2)2、Si(R2)2、C=O、C=NR2、C=C(R2)2、O、S、S=O、SO2、N(R2)、P(R2)、またはP(=O)(R2)から選ばれるブリッジにより連結されてよく、
R2は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、H、Dまたは1〜20個のC原子を有する脂肪族、芳香族および/または複素環式芳香族有機基、好ましくは、炭化水素基であり、加えて、1以上のH原子は、DもしくはFで置き代えられてよく;ここで、2個以上の隣接する置換基R2は、互いにモノ-あるいはポリ環状、脂肪族もしくは芳香族環構造を形成してもよく;
nは、0または1であり、
mは、0、1、2または3であり、
oは、m=0ならば、0、1、2、3または4であり、m=1ならば、0、1、2または3であり、
p、qは、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、0または1であり、ただし、p+qは、1または2であり、
ここで、式(1)、(2)、(3a)または(3b)の化合物は、少なくとも一つの基Ar2を含み、ここで、Ar2は、カルバゾール基、アザカルバゾール基、シスあるいはトランスインデノカルバゾール基、シスあるいはトランスインデノアザカルバゾール基またはシスあるいはトランスインドロカルバゾール基から選ばれ、夫々は1以上の基R1により置換されてよく、ここで二個以上の隣接する基R1は、それらが結合する原子と一緒になって、互いに、モノ-あるいはポリ環状、脂肪族もしくは芳香族環構造を形成してもよく、ただし、基R2は、基Arとは共役しない。
Xは、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、式(4)の基であり、ここで、破線の結合は、各場合に二個のベンゼン環への結合を示し:
X1は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、XまたはC(R1)2、Si(R1)2またはC=C(R1)2、から選ばれる二価ブリッジであり、好ましくは、C(R1)2であり、
R1は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、H、1〜8個のC原子を有する直鎖アルキル、アルコキシもしくはチオアルコキシ基、夫々、1以上の基R2により置換されてよい5〜20個の芳香族環原子を有する芳香族もしくは複素環式芳香族環構造、1以上の基R2で置換されてよい5〜20個の芳香族環原子を有するアリールオキシもしくはヘテロアリールオキシ基またはこれら構造の組み合わせであり;ここで、2個以上の隣接する置換基R1は、互いにモノ-あるいはポリ環状脂肪族もしくは芳香族環構造を形成してもよく;
Ar1は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、1以上の基R2により置換されてよい5〜20個、好ましくは、5〜10個の芳香族環原子を有する芳香族もしくは複素環式芳香族環構造であり、
R2は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、H、Dまたは1〜10個、好ましくは、1〜6個のC原子を有する脂肪族、芳香族および/または複素環式芳香族有機基であり、加えて、1以上のH原子は、Fで置き代えられてよく;ここで、2個以上の隣接する置換基R2は、互いにモノ-あるいはポリ環状、脂肪族もしくは芳香族環構造を形成してもよく;
Ar2は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、カルバゾール、アザカルバゾール、インデノカルバゾールおよびインドロカルバゾールより成る群から選ばれ、夫々は1以上の基R1により置換されてよい。)
本発明のさらなる具体例によれば、式(1)、(2)、(3a)または(3b)の化合物は、式(5)〜(12)の化合物から選ばれる。
特に、好ましい有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子は、燐光エミッターとして、少なくとも一つの式(64)〜(67)の化合物を含む。
DCyは、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、それを介して環状基が金属原子に結合してよい少なくとも一つのドナー原子、好ましくは、窒素、カルベン形態の炭素もしくは燐を含み、順に1以上の基R1により置換されてよく;基DCyとCCyは、共有結合を介して互いに結合してよく、
CCyは、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、それを介して環状基が金属原子に結合してよい炭素を含み、1以上の基R1により置換されてよく;
Aは、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、モノアニオン性二座配位キレートリガンド、好ましくは、ジケトネートリガンドである。
以下の合成は、他に断らない限り、保護ガス雰囲気下で、無水溶媒中で行われる。出発物質は、アルドリッチから購入することもできる(フッ化カリウム(噴霧乾燥品)トリ-tert-ブチルホスフィン、酢酸パラジウム(II))。3-クロロ-5,6-ジフェニル-1,2,4-トリアジンは、EP 577559により調製することができる。2’,7’-ジ-tert-ブチルスピロ-9,9’-ビフルオレン-2,7-ビスボロン酸グリコールエステルは、WO 02/077060にしたがって、調製することができ、2-クロロ-4,6-ジフェニル-1,3,5-トリアジンは、US5,438,138にしたがって調製することができる。スピロ-9,9’-ビフルオレン-2,7-ビス(ボロン酸グリコールエステル)は、WO 02/077060と同様に調製することができる。
本発明によるエレクトロルミネッセンス素子が、たとえば、WO 05/003253に記載されたとおりに製造することができる。種々のOLEDに対する結果がここで比較される。基本構造、使用される材料、ドープ度とそれの層厚は、より良い比較のために同一とする。例7、8および13は、先行技術による比較標準を記載し、発光層は、スピロビフルオレニルトリアジン誘導体(T)をホスト材料(またはマトリックス材料)として、種々のゲスト材料(ドーパント)赤色に対してTERまたは緑色三重項発光に対してTEGから成る。さらに、ホスト材料として、スピロビフルオレニルトリアジンを含むOLEDが説明される。以下の構造を有するOLEDが製造され、上記言及した一般的プロセスと同様にして製造される:
正孔注入層(HIL) 20nmの2,2’,7,7’-テトラキス(ジ-パラ-トリル-アミノ)スピロ-9,9’-ビフルオレン
正孔輸送層(HTL) 20nmのNPB(N-ナフチル-N-フェニル-4,4’-ジアミノビフェニル)
発光層(EML) 40nmのホスト材料:スピロビフルオレニルトリアジン(T)
もしくは本発明による化合物
ドーパント:15vol%ドーピング;化合物は、以下参照。
電子輸送層(ETL) 20nmのAlQ(トリス(キノリナート)アルミニウム(III))
カソード 1nmのLiF、100nmAl頂上
TER-1、TER-2、TEGとTの構造は、明確さのために、以下に示される。
Claims (13)
- 式(5)または(6)の化合物。
Arは、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、式(29)〜(41)の基から選ばれ、ここで、各場合に破線の結合は、各場合に、基からスピロビフルオレンへの結合を示し、
式(6)の化合物中の二価の基Arは、式(42)〜(49)の基から選ばれ、ここで、各場合に破線の結合は、基からスピロビフルオレンへの結合を示し、
R2は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、H、Dまたは1〜20個のC原子を有する脂肪族、芳香族および/または複素環式芳香族有機基であり、加えて、1以上のH原子は、DもしくはFで置き代えられてよく;ここで、2個以上の隣接する置換基R2は、互いにモノ-あるいはポリ環状、脂肪族もしくは芳香族環構造を形成してもよく;
nは、0または1であり、
mは、0、1、2または3であり、
oは、m=0ならば、0、1、2、3または4であり、m=1ならば、0、1、2または3であり、

ここで、式(5)または(6)の化合物は、少なくとも一つの基Ar2を含み、ここで、Ar2は、カルバゾール基、アザカルバゾール基、シスあるいはトランスインデノカルバゾール基、シスあるいはトランスインデノアザカルバゾール基またはシスあるいはトランスインドロカルバゾール基から選ばれ、夫々は1以上の基R1により置換されてよく、ここで二個以上の隣接する置換基R1は、それらが結合する原子と一緒になって、互いに、モノ-あるいはポリ環状、脂肪族もしくは芳香族環構造を形成してもよく、ただし、基R2は、基Arとは共役しない。) - 式(5)または(6)の化合物での記号に、以下が適用されることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の化合物:
R2は、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、H、Dまたは1〜10個のC原子を有する脂肪族、芳香族および/または複素環式芳香族有機基であり、加えて、1以上のH原子は、Fで置き代えられてよく;ここで、2個以上の隣接する基R2は、互いにモノ-あるいはポリ環状、脂肪族もしくは芳香族環構造を形成してもよく;
Ar2は、出現毎に、カルバゾール、アザカルバゾール、インデノカルバゾールおよびインドロカルバゾールから選ばれ、夫々は1以上の基R1により置換されてよく、
その他の記号と添え字は、請求項1に示される意味を有する。 - 基Arおよび/またはAr2が、スズキカップリングまたはハートウイッグ-ブフバルトカップリングから選ばれる金属触媒カップリング反応により導入されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜5何れか1項記載の化合物の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜5何れか1項記載の化合物の、電子素子での使用。
- 少なくとも一つの層中で、請求項1〜5何れか1項記載の少なくとも一つの化合物を含む、有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子(OLED、PLED)、有機集積回路(O-IC)、有機電界効果トランジスタ(O-FET)、有機薄膜トランジスタ(O-TFT)、有機発光トランジスタ(O-LET)、有機太陽電池(O-SC)、有機光学検査器、有機光受容器、有機電場消光素子(O-FQD)、発光電子化学電池(LEC)または有機レーザーダイオード(O-laser)から選ばれる、電子素子。
- 請求項1〜5何れか1項記載の一以上の化合物が、発光層中で、または電子輸送層中で使用されることを特徴とする、請求項8記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
- 燐光エミッターが、式(64)〜(67)の化合物であることを特徴とする、請求項9記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
DCyは、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、それを介して環状基が金属に結合してよい少なくとも一つの窒素、カルベン形態の炭素もしくは燐から選ばれるドナー原子を含み、順に1以上の置換基R1を有してもよく;基DCyとCCyは、共有結合を介して互いに結合してよく、
CCyは、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、それを介して環状基が金属に結合してよい炭素原子を含み、1以上の基R1を有してもよく;
Aは、出現毎に同一であるか異なり、モノアニオン性二座配位キレートリガンドである。) - モノアニオン性二座配位キレートリガンドは、ケトネートリガンドである請求項10記載の有機エレクトロルミネッセンス素子。
- 少なくとも一つの燐光エミッターと請求項1〜5何れか1項記載の少なくとも一つの化合物を含む混合物。
- 請求項1〜5何れか1項記載の少なくとも一つの化合物もしくは請求項12記載の混合物と少なくとも一つの溶媒を含む溶液または調合物。
