Description
損傷防止(abuse-resistant)層を有している。損傷防止層には、ポリエステル層またはポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)層を用いることができるが、他のポリエステルも含め、適切な特性を付与できる他の材料を用いることもできる。例えば、金属箔、酸化アルミニウム(AlOx)、酸化シリコン(SiOx)、ポリビニリデンクロライド、エチレンビニルアルコールコポリマーの1つまたは複数の層で規定されるブロッキング層を、封止層と外側のポリエステル層との間に必要に応じて配置してもよい。一般的には、硬化性の接着剤、2成分ポリウレタン接着剤組成物を用いて各層を隣接する層に結合する。
食品と接触するすべての材料と同様に、包装から該包装内に含まれる食品へと通過するまたは移行する材料についての危惧、および法規がある。この危惧は、レトルト処理された食品パッケージの場合には大きくなり、それは高い圧力と温度にパッケージが曝されるからである。米国食品医薬品局は、食品パッケージから食品へ移行する物質の量を測定するための試験方法を推奨している(工業ガイダンス:食品接触物質のための製造販売届の作成:化学的勧告;FDAのウェブサイトで入手できる)。これらおよび他の試験方法は、当業者にはよく知られている。食品製品に高レベルの化学物質が移行する食品包装用シート材料は、食品包装用途には一般的には望ましいものでもなく、認容できるものでもない。
成分Aとして約50重量%のTycel7998と、成分Bとして約50重量%のLA6094を含む2成分ポリウレタン接着剤組成物を混合した(両方とも、ノースカロライナ州ケアリーのヘンケル社製)。成分Bは、約1重量%の8−ヒドロキシキノリンを含んでいた。混合した接着剤を完全に硬化するまで放置した。
以下の接着剤組成物を調製した。その組成物のすべてのパーセントは重量%である。

6重量%の5−ヒドロキシメチル−8−ヒドロキシキノリンをブロッキング剤として成分Bに含有させて、実施例2の組成物を調製した。成分Aと成分Bを重量比1:1で混合した。混合した組成物のポットライフは約30分であった。
Claims (14)
- 前記ブロッキング剤が、5−ヒドロキシメチル−8−ヒドロキシキノリンである、請求項1記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記ブロッキング剤が、接着剤の0.0001〜10重量%の範囲で含まれる請求項1記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記触媒が、スズ触媒、有機スズ触媒、有機金属触媒、アミン触媒、三級アミン触媒およびそれらの混合物から選択される請求項1記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記触媒が、ジラウリル酸ジブチルスズである請求項1記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記触媒が、ジラウリル酸ジブチルスズと、1種または複数種のアミン触媒との混合物を含む請求項1記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記触媒が、接着剤の0.001〜1重量%含まれる請求項1記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記第2成分が、1種または複数種の脂肪族および/または脂環族イソシアネートである請求項1記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記の1種または複数種のポリオールが、少なくとも2つのヒドロキシル基を含み、分子量が500〜5000である請求項1記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記の接着剤が、該接着剤の0重量%超20重量%以下の、1種または複数種の連鎖延長剤を含む請求項1記載の接着剤組成物。
- 請求項1記載の接着剤組成物の硬化生成物によりブロッキング層に結合された熱可塑性層を有する第1の積層シート部を含む食品包装用積層シート。
- 請求項1の接着剤組成物の硬化生成物によりブロッキング層に結合された熱可塑性層を有する第1の積層シート部と、
請求項1の接着剤組成物の硬化生成物によりブロッキング層に結合された熱可塑性層を有する第2の積層シート部とを有し、
第1および第2の積層シート部が食品パッケージの周縁部で隣接して熱融着され、熱融着された熱可塑性層の間に食品製品が密封されている食品パッケージ。 - レトルト処理されている請求項12記載の食品パッケージ。
- 第1および第2の積層シート部が、単一の折り畳みシートの一部である請求項12記載の食品パッケージ。
