Claims (24)
- 除去された組織を採集チャンバへ移送するカテーテルを作製する方法であって、前記カテーテルは、螺旋駆動軸を含み、前記螺旋駆動軸は、所望のピッチ、深さ、幅、外径をもつ螺旋オーガブレードを有し、前記方法は、
前記螺旋駆動軸を作製することと、
前記螺旋駆動軸をカテーテル本体の管腔の中に挿入することと
を含み、
前記螺旋駆動軸を作製することは、
円筒形の駆動軸をポリマー管内に配置することであって、前記ポリマー管は、両端部と、前記両端部の間に延びる縦軸と、略円形の横断面とを有する、ことと、
前記ポリマー管の一端部を前記駆動軸に装着することと、
前記駆動軸に重なる前記ポリマー管に、前記ポリマー管を軟化させるのに十分な温度の熱を加えることと、
前記軟化したポリマー管を、前記縦軸の周りで前記駆動軸に対してねじって、前記ポリマー管の一部を曲げることであって、前記ポリマー管の曲げられた部分は、前記所望のピッチ、深さ、幅、外径をもつ前記螺旋オーガブレードの少なくとも一部を形成する、ことと
を含む、方法。 - 前記駆動軸は、右の層と左の層とに交互に巻かれたワイヤを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 熱が218°Cの温度で前記ポリマー管に加えられる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記駆動軸は、直径(DDS)を有し、前記ポリマー管は、直径(DPOLY)を有し、前記ポリマー管は、壁厚さ(TPOLY)を有し、前記オーガブレードは、(πDPOLY−πDDS)/2に等しい半径方向長さを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記駆動軸は、直径(DDS)を有し、前記ポリマー管は、直径(DPOLY)を有し、前記ポリマー管は、壁厚さ(TPOLY)を有し、前記螺旋オーガブレードは、DDS+(πDPOLY−πDDS)+2TPOLYに等しい外径を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 除去された組織を採集チャンバへ移送するカテーテルを作製する方法であって、前記カテーテルは、螺旋駆動軸を含み、前記螺旋駆動軸は、所望のピッチ、深さ、幅、外径をもつ二重螺旋または複数螺旋オーガブレードを有し、前記方法は、
前記螺旋駆動軸を作製することと、
前記螺旋駆動軸をカテーテル本体の管腔の中に挿入することと
を含み、
前記螺旋駆動軸を作製することは、
円筒形の駆動軸をポリマー管内に配置することであって、前記ポリマー管は、両端部と、前記両端部の間に延びる縦軸と、略横断面とを有する、ことと、
前記ポリマー管の一端部を前記駆動軸に装着することと、
前記ポリマー管を軟化させるのに十分な温度の、複数の加熱された器具を、前記駆動軸に重なる前記ポリマー管に当てることと、
前記当てられた複数の加熱された器具を、前記ポリマー管の前記縦軸の周りで回転させることにより、前記ポリマー管の一部を曲げることであって、前記ポリマー管の曲げられた部分は、すべてが同一の所望のピッチ、深さ、幅をもつ複数の螺旋のオーガブレードの少なくとも一部を形成する、ことと
を含む、方法。 - 前記駆動軸は、右の層と左の層とに交互に巻かれたワイヤを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の加熱された器具は、218°Cの温度で前記ポリマー管に当てられる、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の加熱された器具は、2つの加熱された器具を含む、請求項6に記載の方法。

前記螺旋駆動軸をカテーテル本体の管腔の中に挿入することと

前記螺旋駆動軸を作製することは、
円筒形の駆動軸を押出ポリマー管内に配置することであって、前記ポリマー管は、円形の横断面を有する、ことと、
前記ポリマー管の一端部を前記駆動軸に装着することと、
前記ポリマー管を軟化させるのに十分な温度の、単一の加熱された器具を、前記駆動軸に重なる前記ポリマー管に当てることと、
前記加熱された器具を、前記駆動軸の周りで回転させることと、
前記軟化したポリマー管を前記加熱された器具で造形することにより、前記ポリマー管の一部を前記加熱された器具の下で曲げるようにすることであって、前記ポリマー管の曲げられた部分は、同一の所望のピッチ、深さ、幅をもつ反対の壁に残る残留ポリマーの副螺旋ピッチを有する螺旋オーガブレードを形成する、ことと
を含む、方法。 - 前記駆動軸は、右の層と左の層とに交互に巻かれたワイヤを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記加熱された器具は、218°Cの温度で前記ポリマー管に当てられる、請求項10に記載の方法。

前記螺旋駆動軸をカテーテル本体の管腔の中に挿入することと

前記螺旋駆動軸を作製することは、
円筒形の駆動軸をポリマーで被覆することと、
前記円筒形の駆動軸を螺旋巻線内に配置することと、
前記駆動軸を前記螺旋巻線内に配置した後に、前記ポリマー被覆を溶融させて前記螺旋巻線を前記駆動軸に接合するのに十分な温度の熱を加えることであって、螺旋コイルは、前記所望のピッチ、深さ、幅、外径を有するオーガブレードを形成する、ことと
