Description
図1の機能ブロック図に示すように、電気鉄道車両の充電システムS1は、所定の容量(例えば、30kW/h等)を有し、電気鉄道車両R100の駆動系(例えば、三相交流モータ等)に電力を供給する第1の蓄電手段としてのバッテリAと、所定の駅において図示しない外部電源から給電可能な給電手段としての充電口1と、前記所定の駅における停車時に、充電口1に接続されて、バッテリAを充電する充電手段としての充電装置4(4a、4b)と、バッテリAの容量よりも大きな容量(例えば、500kW/h以上等)を有する第2の蓄電手段としてのバッテリBと、電気鉄道車両R100の走行時においてバッテリAの消費電力に関する情報の演算処理を行う演算手段としてのマイクロコンピュータ等で構成される演算装置10と、この演算装置10による演算結果に基づいて、バッテリBからバッテリAに対する補充充電を行う補充充電手段としての補充充電装置40(40a、40b)とを少なくとも備えている。

Claims (6)
- 所定の容量を有し、電気鉄道車両の駆動系に電力を供給する第1の蓄電手段と、
所定の駅において外部電源から給電可能な給電手段と、
前記所定の駅における停車時に、前記給電手段に接続されて、前記第1の蓄電手段を充電する充電手段と、
前記第1の蓄電手段の容量よりも大きな容量を有する第2の蓄電手段と、
前記電気鉄道車両の走行時において前記第1の蓄電手段の消費電力に関する情報の演算処理を行う演算手段と、
該演算手段による演算結果に基づいて、前記第2の蓄電手段から前記第1の蓄電手段に対する補充充電を行う補充充電手段と、
を少なくとも備え、
前記充電手段は、前記第1の蓄電手段に対して予め設定される規定量を充電し、
前記演算手段は、電気鉄道車両の走行時における前記第1の蓄電手段の消費電力が前記規定量に達したか否かを演算して判定し、
前記補充充電手段は、前記演算手段により前記消費電力が前記規定量に達したと判定された場合に前記第2の蓄電手段から前記第1の蓄電手段への補充充電を行うことを特徴とする電気鉄道車両の充電システム。 - 前記充電手段は、前記駆動系の減速動作時に発生する回生電力を前記第1の蓄電手段に対して充電することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気鉄道車両の充電システム。
- 前記充電手段によって充電される前記回生電力の量と、前記規定量と、前記第1の蓄電手段に補充充電される量との和が、前記駆動系で消費される消費電力量と等しくなるように設定されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電気鉄道車両の充電システム。
- 前記第2の蓄電手段は、前記電気鉄道車両が搭載する空調設備、灯回路の少なくとも一つを含む機器に電力を供給することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れかに記載の電気鉄道車両の充電システム。
- 前記第2の蓄電手段に対する充電は、前記電気鉄道車両の停留時において、定電流・定電圧充電装置により低速充電されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4の何れかに記載の電気鉄道車両の充電システム。
- 前記電気鉄道車両は、1または2以上の電動車および当該電動車に連結される1または2以上の付随車で構成され、
前記第1の蓄電手段、前記充電手段、前記演算手段および前記補充充電手段は、前記電動車に搭載され、
前記第2の蓄電手段は、前記付随車に搭載されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5の何れかに記載の電気鉄道車両の充電システム。
