Description
固体燃料粒子の平均比表面積B≦石炭及び石油コークス粒子の平均比表面積A
と予想される。
ここで、同一の粉砕条件とは、粉砕後の平均粒子径が同一となるまで粉砕する条件をいう。
原料として、ポリエチレン(PS)、ポリプロピレン(PP)、ポリスチレン(PS)、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、塩化ビニル樹脂及びABS樹脂等を含む廃プラスチック、市販の微粉炭、及び市販の石油コークス粉を準備した。準備した廃プラスチックの組成の一例を表1に示す。表1に示すような複数種類の廃プラスチックを混合して、固体燃料の原料とした。原料である廃プラスチック、微粉炭、石油コークス粉、及び当該石油コークス粉と微粉炭とを35:65の質量比率で混合して得た有機物粉末の性状を、表2に纏めて示す。また、石油コークス塊状物の粒度分布を表3に示す。図5は、該有機物粉末の粒度分布(体積基準)を示すグラフである。
収率(質量%)=固体燃料の質量/(加熱炉に投入した廃プラスチック、微粉炭及び石油コークス粉の合計質量)×100 ・・・(1)
Claims (10)
- 石炭及び石油コークスから得られる粉体と、プラスチックを加熱して得られる加熱処理物と、を含む固体燃料であって、
前記粉体は、前記石炭を粉砕した微粉炭及び当該微粉炭の熱分解物の少なくとも一方と、前記石油コークスを粉砕した石油コークス粉及び当該石油コークス粉の熱分解物の少なくとも一方と、を含有し、
前記プラスチックは、塩素を含む熱可塑性プラスチックを含有し、
前記加熱処理物は、前記熱可塑性プラスチックを溶融した後、冷却して得られる再固化物を含有し、
揮発分の含有率が10〜65質量%、固定炭素の含有率が10〜80質量%、及び水分の含有率が0〜50質量%であり、
前記再固化物を主成分として含む第1の相と、
前記粉体を主成分として含み、前記第1の相の外周を覆う第2の相と、を有する固体燃料。 - C(炭素)の含有率が70〜90質量%、H(水素)の含有率が1〜20質量%、O(酸素)の含有率が0〜30質量%である、請求項1に記載の固体燃料。
- 空気中、昇温速度10℃/分で昇温する熱重量分析において、
昇温開始前の重量を基準としたときに、
350℃における重量減少率(無水灰基準)が1〜70%であり、500℃における重量減少率(無水灰基準)が15〜100%である、請求項1又は2に記載の固体燃料。 - HGIが15〜40である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の固体燃料。
- 粒状であり、全体の50質量%以上の粒子が1.0mm以上且つ30mm未満の粒子径を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の固体燃料。
- 高位発熱量が20000〜40000kJ/kgである、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の固体燃料。
- 前記熱可塑性プラスチック100質量部に対して、前記微粉炭及び前記石油コークス粉を合計で50〜500質量部混合し、加熱して前記熱可塑性プラスチックの少なくとも一部を溶融した後、溶融した前記熱可塑性プラスチックを冷却して再固化し、粒状化して得られる、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の固体燃料。
- 前記プラスチックが廃プラスチックを含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の固体燃料。
- 前記粉体の平均粒子径が500μm以下である、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の固体燃料。
- 前記プラスチックの塩素含有率が1〜30質量%である、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の固体燃料。
